    The BBTN guys just reported that Lugo and the D Rays are far apart from an offer, and they think he will also be traded this weekend. They also said Toronto looks like they would be the front runner if Lugo becomes available.

    I have met Lars before on numerous occasions, and he is a very nice, personable guy. That said, I could give a **** if people hate him or not over Napster, his ego, etc. He isnt the worst thing to happen to Metallica, or music. Go Metallica!

    My wedding is March 17, 2007. No, we are not Irish if you are thinking that. It was the only day in March the Hall and the Church had available. No biggie, it makes things easier now that its before baseball season. :lol: We also have a townhome being built in Lake in the Hills that should be done by the end of this year. This stuff is fun to talk about, especially with the way this season is going. Picked a good time to not be focused on the Cubs 100%.

    The Washington Times is saying the reports were exaggerated and that they were nowhere close to a deal. The chicago media over exaggerated? I dont believe it! After Kenny Williams publicly stated McCarthy isnt going anywhere I figured this deal was dead...

    I'm loving this idea! I will send a team of my sister and her friends to be the sacraficial lambs. I will tell them they will have to put up with stories about how good the "Big Red Machine" was back when baseball was pure and at its best, and how big Morgan's "Big Red Machine" is, but it will be for the common good. Think they can intern right away?

    Probably right. What else could we add? Think aloud, please. Walker? They've got Ramon Martinez playing 2B with Kent on the DL. Ohman? Beimel is the only lefty in their pen with Perez out the door. Nevin? As insurance on Nomar and a RH power bat for the bench. I'm going to pretend that I did not just look up to see how Ramon has been doing this year and see a 377 OBP. Dude sometimes hits cleanup. In games the Dodgers win by double digits. Dude didnt save us last year though! Its like bass fishing...
