Nope. Bad baseball. the ball bouncing right back to the catcher was bad baseball? That happens to the good teams all the time. They still win. that doesn't make sense. the cubs have turned over their management, coaching staff, and personel so many times over the years it can't just be bad baseball. what are the chances that theriot GIDP? You can't be SERIOUSLY arguing in favor of believing in curses... are you? that's like someone at pearl harbor saying that they can't really believe that the japanese would attack, all while the arizona is sinking and the bombs are falling.

I can see bad baseball, I can't see curses. you can't see the same things happening to different cubs teams year after year after year? the cubs are cursed. go away. seriously. maybe the cubs expect to lose because their fans expect them to lose. yeah, and that's more rational than believing in a curse, how?

No curse, bad baseball. if you think it's just bad baseball you haven't been a cubs fan for long. bad baseball doesn't last 100 years. if you traded rosters with the Yankees and had them play in Chicago, they would win I don't think so. I don't believe in curses, though. I think when you're a Yankee there is an expectation of winning and second doesn't count. I don't think that really exists with the Cubs organization. there's been an expectation of winning for 4 years now. they haven't. curses exist. Expectation doesn't mean squat. You have to live up to it and the Cubs haven't. did you even read the post i was responding to?

buehrle has no effect on the Cubs whatsoever. get over it this will dominate chicago sports radio for the next 3 years. and a cubs no-hitter will never come.

anything more than a 1-2-3 inning would be very surprising. i'm expecting 2 weak bounce outs and a pop foul out.

you guys expect anything less from the cubs? this always happens, always. i swear i can't understand how people can claim there's no such thing as a curse.
