  1. it's where the ball is when the knee goes down, not where the knee goes down, idiots.
  2. but not THE U go gophers yeah, they're better than the illini like oregon state is better than usc. you can tell tim brewster than he can stop fist-pumping now. naaa...I'm enjoying it ;) good news is very soon we will have our open-air on campus stadium again. about friggen time. I was kinda stunned the gophers beat Illinois. I thought the Illini would be better this year then they have been, and the U's defense is night and day better then last year. I cant wait to go to an Illini-Gophers game outside, or any Gophers home game outside again i'd like to be good humored about it, but it's still stings. too soon. but yeah, an open-air stadium will be nice. well, since your up north, maybe a trip to mpls for a illini/gopher game would be good for you? I actually like the illini alot, having grown up down there. i love the twin cities, and get there whenever i can. then we should have a beer sometime definitely.
  3. Did you miss your boy hurdling someone? You were calling for it all game. no, i was flipping between the alcs and the game. he's the aramis ramirez of hurdling, he only hurdles when it doesn't mean anything.
  4. how does j leman sit there and give an unbiased analysis of the game?

  6. ouch. haha.
  7. juice williams is going to be a heisman candidate next year. they should start the campaign now.

  9. wrong son. but clint doesn't play for the gophers anymore, anyway.
  10. but not THE U go gophers yeah, they're better than the illini like oregon state is better than usc. you can tell tim brewster than he can stop fist-pumping now. In fairness, the gap between OSU and USC is much wider than the gap between Minnesota and Illinois. Minnesota is hugely improved this year. IU is really the only pushover team in the Big Ten this year. Except maybe Wisconsin? they showed tim brewster in the stands watching his son's team, and he hasn't stopped celebrating, though. march on, Timmy! yeah, if he does well at minny, he'll have a job in champaign for a long time.

  13. if we don't lose that crapfest against minnesota, we're sitting pretty at 5-2 going into madison. what a joke that was last week. what the hell is a vandesteeg and what hole did he crawl out of and when will he come out again?
  14. Seriously. He's the best TE in the country. you might want to find a safe house after comments like these two in sequence it looks like he's trying to jump over him, but he can't. you can do it, boy, jump!
  15. 17-14 Kentucky 24-20 Ole Miss Beating Clemson is not impressive. They're 3-4. And 41-30 over UGA (31-0 at halftime) Alabama is a very inconsistent team. At their best they're as good as anybody. At their worst, they're that. And even with this domination of Mizzou, I seriously question Texas' defense. They've shut down teams like Rice, UTEP and FAU, but does anybody really think that means anything? They've played two games against real teams, allowing 35 points to OU and 3 points to Mizzou. How good is that defense? yeah, and oklahoma and mizzou have far better offenses than any single team in the sec, what's your point? Most SEC teams, yes. I still think UGA and Bama have good to very good offenses - though worse than the Big XII teams. so, they have better offenses than most sec teams, except they have better offenses than all sec teams? haha. i like you, though. What? Your post makes no sense. Bama and UGA have better offenses than the rest of the SEC, yet likely worse than Texas and OU. Does that wording make you feel better? oh, okay, i said "far better", i forgot about that. but oklahoma and missouri have great offenses.

  18. the whole argument is moot, anyway. alabama isn't going to run the table. if they don't go down at lsu, they'll hiccup against a bad team.
  19. Like fans of other conferences (coughsBig12coughs) don't overrated their conferences? Please SEC fans are not the only ones who overrate their conference. SEC football is real football, Big 12 football is Arena Football. i'm not a big12 fan, but id' say they overrate their teams. however, they do not share the same insanity as sec fans, see above.
  20. People hate Alabama because when Alabama is good, they are REALLY good and can dominate. People like IMB and Sully doesn't Alabama to return cause they know Nick Saban will make this team the envy of college football, when they want NCAA to slurp their schools. That's why they don't get respected, and that is why Alabama is going to have to earn it on the field. if alabama plays texas in a bowl game, like i said, texas will end up going to prison for a long time. for that matter, if oklahoma plays alabama in a bowl game, oklahoma will be the defendant.
  21. and those who follow the sec tend to overrate their own teams. tennessee fans always expect to win the national title, which is great.......if you are a perrenial title contender.
  22. years after the game, former alabama football players would come forward to tearfully press charges against texas.
  23. jason ford is having a career night.
  24. dude, alabama would seriously get violated by texas.
  25. colt mccoy is a great qb, though.
