  1. Because they're all white and only black prisoners and basketball playing thugs have tats. And the best part is that Alex Smith has a tattoo. Also, Brett Favre, Ben Roethlisberger, and Phillip Rivers have tattoos to name a few. jay cutler has one on his wiener that says "welcome to jamaica mon have a nice day"
  2. i'm absolutely certain that tony gonzalez has had plastic surgery.
  3. meatballs. some meatheads are meatballs but there is no significant correlation.
  4. jerry rice received the jay cutler treatment, though. and joe montana too.
  5. Name one. oldie but Steve Largent. To be clear not talking just about Seahawks and their lack of media exposure. Are you kidding me? Steve Largent received Jay Cutler treatment? You're delusional. i really think he's a serial killer
  6. yes, but not in the same sense that northwestern is lol Only three teams in D1 score a higher percentage of their total points off of 3-point shots. 1) Rice (45.3%) 2) Mount St. Mary's (43.4%) 3) Eastern Washington (43.0%) 4) Illinois (42.9%) The next closest power conference team I see is Northwestern in 22nd place with 37.1% of their points coming from 3's. Illinois was 187th last year with 26.6% of their scoring from 3-point shots. yeah, but they're shooting 42% from 3 in part because they're getting open shots due to the threat of the dribble-drive. and they have absolutely zero threats underneath.
  7. I'd re-sign Louis but there's no guarantee he'd be ready for the start of the season. I hope they can replace Garza because he's not a good center. do linemen really even need their acls? i thought i read somewhere that garza doesn't even have acls and hasn't for years.
  8. especially with illinois bricking every free throw
  9. they took a million shots this summer, they should be good shooters by now. i applaud them. that said, they have some athletes that can get to the rim
  10. yes, but not in the same sense that northwestern is
  11. he jumped over a kid. but 0-7 on free throws
  12. call the [expletive] foul, they can't all be clean
  13. we have missed 6 [expletive] free throws in a row
  14. our big men have had like 80 shots stuffed in their faces tonight
  15. we look like a weber offense right now
  16. the flab 5 got beat by va tech by almost 20 points. wtf?
  17. beckman will stick around at illinois for at least another year. doeren reportedly turns thomas down.
  18. why wouldn't he want to play for the bears?
  19. yeah, there's never really been anyone like him before. mcmahon comes closest, but he wasn't nearly as good and was less subtle with the media. jay cutler is a zombie-fighter
  20. A win's a win. We're a flawed team, but at least we kept the bad loss off our resume. We have to improve against the zone though. True, we need to take care of the ball better. Plus we can't have Abrams and Egwu having their horrible games together like that. We need to go kill ga tech now. Do you think last years' squad would have won this game? Because winning something like the Maui Classic and then, turning around and losing to the likes of Gardner Webb was par for the course the last few seasons. No. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have won this or the Hawaii game. i think they showed guts winning both games in the way they did. neither were pretty, but they found a way to win.
  21. Neither are anything to crow about. I bet the illini announcers made complete asses of themselves by getting excited about the comeback. No, only the KU honks get excited about beating lesser competition, jeez. But seriously, I don't know, since I deleted it from the DVR without having watched it after I caught a glimpse of the score on FB. But it was probably a BTN crew, so it might not have been so bad. Former Illini (and KU grad asst.) Sean Harrington was doing color. I think he got excited when Griffey hit the shot, as a human being should.
  22. really don't weant to lose to gardner-webb
  23. ah it hit the ground
