Lately, it seems like he's a guy that's always close to getting a double-double every game. For an extremely weak draft class, we should be thrilled that we were able to land him 26th overall. I criticized the pick just as much as anybody else and he's done a fantastic job in making me eat my words. I shredded the Bulls for taking him over DeJuan Blair. Not so dumb after all. but blair is a dump truck on a trampoline! the greatest rebounder in the history of college basketball. there's no way gibson could be better than him! like i said, there's a reason he didn't go high.

As Andy said Penn St. missed last year with 10 wins. I don't think we stand a chance with 10 wins. Gut instinct is 11 wins is going to require a win in the 4-5 game. i don't think anyone's ever missed with 11 wins, and i don't think it will start now.

i think he was being facetious, but seriously, curling sucks, no matter how pissed people get at that one guy.

No, I don't think they can just do whatever they want. But it's still judged by humans, which is ridiculous for any sport. It's why the moguls event was disappointing even though the action itself is quite cool (blowing away figure skating). now you're the one dealing in subjectivity. skiing, imso, is awesome to do but moguls are incredibly boring to watch. i prefer the downhill and super g. and i'd rather watch skating than some made-up subjective nonsensical sport like halfpipe even though i enjoy snowboarding, too.

there are standards of what the skaters have to do and degrees of difficulty that are decided upon long before the skaters go out there. if they don't hit what they're supposed to do, they lose points, that's not subjective. you think they can just go out there and do whatever they want and get judged arbitrarily, i get it.

curling looks like an awesome drunk sport, i agree. but i have to take issue with the subjective nonsense, judges can tell who is good and who isn't.

if plushenko's jumps weren't butt-ass ugly, he'd have won the gold, but they were, most every single one of them. there's more to jumping than just landing.

You mean like using a Big 10 diploma? His opinion of Bama is very unimportant unlike toilet paper. bama's a good school as far as the sec goes, but is still behind every single big ten school in terms of academics.
