if knox learns to run the proper route, which i imagine he will do under martz or get benched, and aromashadu gets more passes thrown in his direction, the bears can live with their receivers. if we could snag one of the chargers' guys i would feel a lot better, though.

Good comparison...other than TD's, their stats are pretty close, and that's with Hester having not played for 3 games late in the season. I wonder why the perception out there is that he was pretty mediocre then. I know that's what my perception has been... Maybe some of our expectations were too high. Well Hester is 27, Percy is 21. Percy wasn't strictly a WR in high school or college either. Hester is at his best running go routes, now routes/bubble screens and slants. I think Harvin is more versatile and what really made him so impressive this year was freakish strength. harvin is a gutless choking dog, just like all of the vikings.

Says the guy who is probably the worst out of everyone. I haven't posted in or read this thread too much the last couple weeks but from what I see Illinois runs away with it and its not even close. what the [expletive] are you talking about?

Oh I know it. It was frustration from sitting through another Big Ten loss where we felt like the road team in a home game. All that aside, McCamey is a hell of a nice player and I would kill to have him at Iowa but I wouldn't put him in the top 10 this year and would take Lucas and Battle over him. Hughes is close because I think he's a better defender. As far as McCamey's play last night, imagine you were playing Purdue and Kramer rolled around slamming the floor like he had a broken nose. Then when the officials should have let it play out, they blow the whistle while we have a 5 on 4 and he immediately gets up, walks down the court perfectly fine and never leaves the game. no worries, i do the same thing. and for the record, the turdue nancies are the biggest homers on this board.

hawkeye, i like you, but you're trolling in pretty much every way. you come on here and call mccamey names and refer to the illini program in a discourteous manner just to stir things up. when illini fans get defensive, you call them homers when nothing really could be farther from the truth. i don't think anyone has been harder on our coach and team this year than illini fans. i routinely rip on mike tisdale and davis, cole, and keller, illiniguy is obsessed with how bad of a coach weber is, SSR is harder on the team than anyone. i know you have this grudge deep down from when you were growing up and andy kaufman drained a 3 at the buzzer to win and everyone stormed the court and the crowd went nuts and the angels were signing and the sun was shining everywhere but in your heart, but let it go. that was like 17 years ago, or, in hawkeye years, 30 years ago. the hawkeyes aren't even a rival anymore, they would have to be a threat to be a rival.

Can we please bet on whether Demetri gets drafted? Please? i think the only question is which year. good passer, good shooter, fast/quick, high dribbler, strong, athletic, and big. that's pretty much the total package in terms of the nba.

are we talking about the andre woolridge that plays ball in a 3rd-world country because nobody wanted him? yeah, the only point guard on your list that has an argument is kalin lucas, and mccamey is stronger and a better passer. he even averages like .2 steals less a game than chris kramer. oh, make no mistake, mccamey is one of the top 2 point guards in the league and a top 5 player.
