  1. i'm done starting the ravens over miami.
  2. the bills are terrible at drafting
  3. best linebacking crew in the NFL, they absolutely carry this defense. such a difference when urlacher is out there, briggs plays so much better, the opposing quarterback has to be perfect with the intermediate throws and they swarm with the short throws.
  4. I still don't like the way we play with the lead. I suspect lovie In all of this.
  5. Wtf in short yardage? At least we're not getting killed.
  6. they certainly wouldn't be able to offer up eddie sutton as a sacrifice if they got caught again. cal would skate right into an nba head coaching gig and leave kentucky holding their whatevers.
  7. lol, my point was pointless
  8. And points. and it's silly looking at points and saying that they are what counts when, in actuality, what really counts are wins.
  9. it says here that pearl can only be fired if it was proven that he put squirrels down his players' pants for the purpose of gambling. who signed off on that contract? http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=5582439
  10. well, choke your tears, then.
  11. i don't know how to put it any other way people, the bears defense was bad, except that they played well.
  12. can we all agree that if you go to college in the state of florida you are probably guilty of some kind of crime?
  13. yeah, purnell's clean as they come. as much as i hate to say it, i think irvin favors depaul over illinois because purnell's black and weber has been accused of not being able to relate to black players, which totally boggles my mind.
  14. win at all costs. one thing i credit your irish for not doing, notre dame at least has a sense of dignity in terms of being an academic institution. players attend class and don't get arrested. these schools have a couple down years, fire their coaches, bring in new ones and tell them that they don't care how it gets done, as long as it does. florida will eventually pay.
  15. but back to the previous topic, i can't wait for pearl to go down and i hope he takes the UT program with him. they sold their souls and now they should pay the price.
  16. mike irvin is a piece of [expletive] and tries to steer fire players away from illinois because weber won't pay for talent, which is why mycheal henry changed aau teams, and probably why jabari parker and tommy hamilton don't play for them anymore, either. if shaw is looking for payment, illinois is not the place for him.
  17. i really have no idea what dyar, but id' say both of them played relatively well. does dyar factor in the route that knox broke off on, which he does every single week at least once getting his qb picked off or almost picked off? Yes, it affects both the WR and the QB, every pass attempt does, since it's difficult to discern who is at fault on occasion for those kind of plays. okay, so if it is absolutely knox's fault, i mean blatantly, i mean he runs down the field and breaks the opposite direction because he forgot which one was his left again, cutler throws the ball to the spot that knox is supposed to be and the safety that knox is supposed to be standing in front of picks the ball off and all the fans groan because they hate cutler because it looked like he was throwing the ball right to the defender, it will mark the receiver and qb down equally? there are just way too many moving parts in football.
  18. i really have no idea what dyar, but id' say both of them played relatively well. does dyar factor in the route that knox broke off on, which he does every single week at least once getting his qb picked off or almost picked off? Cutler said that was his fault. cutler says a lot of things.
  19. I'm pretty sure he wasn't calling your "he played well" statement hyperbole. i would hope not, but well, here we are.
  20. i really have no idea what dyar, but id' say both of them played relatively well. does dyar factor in the route that knox broke off on, which he does every single week at least once getting his qb picked off or almost picked off?
  21. i think he was implying that everything i said was hyperbole.
  22. didn't know that saying he played well was hyperbole.
  23. yeah, you guys are right, he was terrible.
  24. He wasn't. He was the only good thing (other than Forte's pass catching) in the offense last week. VAR has him as the 4th most effective QB last week (Peyton, Brady...Orton?). aromashadu and taylor played well, too. the offense was very good except for the fumbles and the goal-line situations. this team doesn't play well in the red zone and they need to figure out how to fix it.
