May have been her agent or some third party to keep her fingers clean, but it could easily have been anybody else, considering she supposedly played these recordings and pictures for friends for poops and giggles. what i don't understand is why she's so reticent to come out about this. she told a sleazy blogger who will do anything for dirt about the pictures and the voicemails, thinking he was going to keep it quiet because they were friends? how dumb is she? then she lets anyone and everyone hear the messages and see the pictures and texts, but she won't officially speak on this, what the [expletive]? honestly, what did she think would happen? maybe she's afraid of getting sued or never getting another sideline reporter job, who knows? this girl is a straight up attention-seeking bitch. A lot of Favre apologists are calling her a slutty whore and a whole bunch of other words essentially for being on the receiving end of some skeevy older male attention and having the audacity to not remain quiet about it. My guess is that is why she is hesitant to have her name attached. i'm not saying that favre isn't completely at fault and a total [expletive] creep in this. but, if she's going to tell the guy from deadspin about it, then she should just come out with it. and what kind of animal decides that it's a good idea to send [expletive] pictures to a girl who has repeatedly spurned your advances?

in the spring they said that in one of the pictures, you could see the watch he was wearing at his green bay retirement presser. i didn't see a watch and i really don't have a desire to scrutinize those pictures. well, i do, i'm just saying that i don't.

The story came out (less than a year ago), but mainstream media ignored it. Now with the voicemails and pics out there, they really can't do that anymore. Deadspin broke the story in August, I believe. Wasn't it in the spring? Either way the timing was odd that this happened two years ago and didn't deadspin say they had seen the evidence this spring? Then it came out the week of the Jets game. I would think the "third party" had some affiliation with them. i don't think they actually had the voicemails and pictures of [expletive] at that point. the girl must have handed them over.

i'm absolutely certain that mike shaw has wanted to commit to the illini for a while though, but mac irvin has his hand out and is forcing him to wait. i'm also sure that the reason mycheal henry, tommy hamilton, and jabari parker all left the fire was due to irvin's anti-illini, pro-kickback stance. shaw's not going to get big money wherever he goes, he's not in quincy miller's league. he might as well attend illinois, not get paid, but be part of a successful team and have a chance to hit the next level and make real money.

Not likely at all. There likely won't be a ton of 2 loss teams in the poll next week and Illinois is well behind several 2 loss teams in the national perception even with a win against MSU. however, it is possible that illinois could win out. if they did that, they could find themselves in a decent bowl game. like the cap one or the outback. that would be out of this world. i would fire zook at that point and make koenning or petrino the head coach.
