    yes, because we aren't desperate to start him and won't pump him full of pills so he can get to some sort of consecutive start plateau. i'm surprised they haven't wheeled matthews and finley out there. i figure they think with the other injuries, it's important to get rodgers in there so they aren't essentially forfeiting the game.

    If he passed all the tests I have no problem with him playing. i know you have no problem with him playing. if he gets hit hard again you might have a problem with him being out of football though. i understand your team is super desperate for a win.

    Classy. I wouldn't count on Purdue going back to mediocrity anytime soon. I don't think you will fade away. But, I also do not think you are recruiting well enough to be in the top 3 of the Big Ten the next few years. what's purdue's 2012 recruiting class looking like? It's full with 2 four stars, and a three star. They have a verbal from Jay Simpson, a big man out of Champaign, which Illinois didn't even recruit. they missed out on that huge class then, huh?
