    yeah, i think he'll be one of those guys you stick in center and forget about that position for 10 years. his isod is ridiculous. wsr said chris young with a better average? chris young with a .275-.300 average is a pretty damn great player, i'll take that and he'll be an all-star every year.

    it doesn't seem like people are as high as they should be on jackson. i mean, the guy has had success at every level he's played at and will most likely be the starter in center next season. why the lack of excitement?

    so what did macphail do when he was hired away from minnesota? was he the de facto GM or did lynch have a lot of autonomy? this seems like a similar situation, very successful GM hired away and promoted from a 2-time world champion that he constructed.

    i'm honestly thinking a theo-hahn pairing is in our future, with theo as team president (it doesn't make sense to name him "ceo" with ricketts already essentially operating as ceo). with francona as manager.

    besides the awesome name, the guy is a very good pitcher, and a free agent who is most likely going to be much cheaper than cj wilson, and probably less crazy about guns.

    Well, as long as he isn't already engaged by another guy......legal block. And if it isn't done right, you just put a lineman on the ground and will probably get raped. So it's not 100% either. That's why teams don't just cut everyone on every play. There's some risk involved with that strategy. well, of course. i think his argument here is that the risk is justified.

    jurko was saying that the best thing the bears can do to donkeykong is cut him on every play. and that's coming from a former interior d-lineman.
