i think ohio state has the best chance with their athletes and thomas and sullinger down low. not much of a chance, but i always think that kentucky is invincible and then they crap the bed.

Too little too late. By far. I would like to know what he really said to Collins. Was it a real apology or a "I'm sorry I had to put a kid through that ordeal" kind of an apology. Sort of like when someone says, "I'm sorry you were offended." If it was real, I wish this would get any kind of media attention--more than just a twitter message that only Illinois boards will notice. Instead, the only time a national media member brings it up is to mention he was just "being a whistleblower and doing the right thing." i'll tell you this, the hicks downstate will hold a grudge forever because they are absolute yokels.

Arena, facilities, money plus good tradition/history and a national name. they also have the largest basketball budget in the country, although one could argue that they get the least production from every dollar spent than any other top 25 program.

zack zaidman just said his sources close to the situation have said that there is a tape of what happened in the marshall incident. a fight spilling out of a night club, the woman in question was hit, but not be marshall. the police tried to follow up with her, she declined to make herself available to them. the police have no desire to question marshall further. everything appears to be a go.

what are you asking? How you can say "obviously this job isn't that great when you were rejected by your 1st 2 options, and wound up with a meh candidate." Was UNC 2000 obviously not a great job? Was UK 2007 obviously not a great job? don't forget alabama football. didn't the rutgers coach turn them down before mike shula or whomever, accepted the job?

malcolm hill is going to meet with groce, but he really likes his offensive system and his coach thinks he shouldn't be an issue.

I think this is going to happen. Not good, I really don't want Self to get his foot back in inside of Chicago. he won't be as effectrive, as has been stated, but we don't need it.
