Well, that was fun. I need the Lakers and the Cubs to win it all this year, because I sure don't have any luck with my other teams in the upcoming seasons.

I know. I hope Arkansas can at least hang because I went to the same HS and played with Steve Hill. NC can't miss from 3, and Arkansas can't buy a bucket outside. There's no way it'll be as disproportionate all game. How much of a difference will it be, though?

They very well could. They're controlling it now, though this is shaping up to be a battle. Holy crap, I haven't seen so many blocked shots in so little time ever.

Yeah, I don't mind this loss for Indiana. They didn't play particularly badly (although not great) but Arkansas played their A game tonight. Weems completely disappeared for the last few games until Georgia. He was averaging over 20 points after the new year before he ran into that stretch where he scored something like 13 points in three games. I really wish I had seen more of this Arkansas team over the course of the season, especially since they're losing Weems, Thomas, Hunter, Hill, Townes, and Ervin after this year.

Arkansas would've been a top 10 team if they could play like this consistently. They have the ability.

This is Sun Belt country, so I've seen quite a bit of WKY and South Alabama. They're both very dangerous.

This morning I went downtown to the city services building to pay a bill. It took about 20 minutes to go 2 blocks, because I had sort of forgotten about a little event going on next door called the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.

They didn't WIN it, but they did MAKE it. Better to play in the Super Bowl and lose than not play in it at all. By your criteria there would be 31 failures out of 32 teams every year. That's pretty much what he's saying.

I don't know what to make of the Hogs. This is the most schizofrenic team I've ever seen. They have some good wins and some awful, awful losses. Alabama, South Carolina, Georgia, and Providence? Really? And they beat Mississippi, Florida, MSU, and Vanderbilt? Truth of the matter is that this team should have at least four more wins right now. They need to close out strong.

I think it was CBS that was talking about the Falcons taking Matt Ryan?!?! I'll see if I can find a link, but I'm sure that was the speculation on their pick. Every draft analyst it seems is extremely high on Matt Ryan and think he'll be the first QB taken (no idea why, there's probably two to three I'd take first). That would make it very likely he ends up a Falcon - and probably means a lot of playing time for Joey Harrington since Ryan's so raw. Who would you take over Ryan?
