  1. I...probably don't. myp2p.eu will have to save the day, most likely. And one google later, it' sconfirmed. It goes through north and northeastern Arkansas, but not central.
  2. that's a ridiculous amount of money for a guy who has played 165 games and has averaged 7.2/5.7 over that span I'm much, much more concerned about his health than I am about his numbers getting limited PT as an 18 and 19 year old.
  3. Lakers and Bynum have agreed to turms on a new deal worth 58 mil total over 3 years with a team option for the fourth year. Don't know the breakdown yet.
  4. The Clippers sure could have used Elton Brand yesterday. Or hell, Marcus Camby.
  5. Yeah I've only heard of these 2, I don't even know what that song is IMB mentioned. Me either. AND NOW PRESENTING RIGHT SAID FRED I'M TOO SEXY
  6. Last year in the week before the Cotton Bowl, Arkansas' defensive backs spent the week telling the media about how Mizzou hadn't faced a real defense or something similar about "SEC speed". Then gameday came and Mizzou laid them to waste. We had a lot of fun finding Matteral Richardson on the field and watching him chase Tony Temple. Matteral Richardson said that? Who is he to talk about SEC speed, getting beat all the damn time?
  7. Arthur beasted all preseason when he got to play. I see great things in his future. In other news, the Lakers are pretty good at basketball. Any reason Darko is starting? Your guess is as good as mine.
  8. Arthur beasted all preseason when he got to play. I see great things in his future. In other news, the Lakers are pretty good at basketball.
  9. Ole Miss is better than people give them credit for, but come the hell on.
  10. There's teh Bynum I was waiting for.
  11. Undoubtedly. In any case, he should be seeing more total minutes than Vlad. I don't care if he starts or not if that's the case. Actually, you can make a case that three Lakers bench players (Odom, Farmar, Ariza) should be playing more than starters, though that really could only be the case with two at most. Odom and Ariza should both outplay Vlad unless he's having a monster game. By sason's end, I expect Farmar to be getting over half the minutes at the point.
  12. His skills are built primarily around the defense and rebounding aspect. He doesn't have an NBA offensive game. That's something he can grow into if he can stay on the court.
  13. To be fair, Oden was playing his first ever regular season NBA game against a pretty damned good front line. Ifyou thought he was going to be great under those circumstances, you were a victim of hype.
  14. Vlad started. Odom came off the bench, made some bone headed plays, and started wrecking shop once the 2nd quarter started. I understand why you are annoyed by Vlad. And Ariza is an incredible athlete who plays teriffic man D, and he's developing a shot. Good chance he'll be starting next year if things progress as expected. Odom's a good fit for the 2nd unit because he can play power forward with that squad. He'll still be in the game for 30 minutes+ most nights. And Farmar/Vujacic/Ariza/Odom/Mbenga is almost good enough to start for some teams.
  15. Odom apparently flipped his awesome switch inbetween quarters.
  16. I was just about to post that. Oden, meanwhile, is a) shotputtng balls at the rim, and b) fouling.
  17. Looking forward to seeing how Big Drew does in his first game back. Also hoping to see Farmar dominate like he did all preseason.
  18. I'm seeing Tulsa -7.
  19. Ooh, do the SEC. I've never been to any of the campuses mentioned except OU. THe hotel they put us up in was pretty nice. Beyond that and campus, that's all I saw of Norman.
  20. Yeah, they put good drives together, but they haven't been finishing them off lately. Then again, the Broncos can't stop anyone. I think we're going to put up a bunch of points on them. Unfortunately, our pass defense blows and throwing the ball is the Broncos strength. Brandon Marshall is a lock for 150+ yards and at least one TD. Should be a fun game to watch. If we get back to .500, then we're right back in contention. Our (out of division) schedule after the Broncos is ridiculously easy. We really shouldn't lose any of those 5 games (Seahawks, Raiders, Rams, Niners, Chiefs). I knew Houston was not 0-4 bad, but I feel better about that loss seeing them at 3-4 now. Still, it's painful knowing the Dolphins were a desparation Favre heave and a QB sneak away from being 5-2. (Then again, The Texans can say the same thing.)
  21. The Eastern divisions are clearly the best in the league. The Western divisions are clearly the worst. Synchronicity at work. Here's hoping the Dolphins can upset the Broncos and get back to .500. Offense should be available in spades, but the defense will have its hands full. Both of my football teams (Dolphins and Razorbacks) have the same problems--Good yardage, bad scoring. Miami ranks 9th in yardage but only 22nd in scoring.
  22. I really hope he can keep it up. You and me both. Funny how he went from 5th on the team in receiving yards to first in three hours.
  23. Arkansas has proven over the last few weeks, while going 1-2, that they're basically a middle-of-the-pack caliber SEC team - some experience. The score in their last 3 games combined is 66-66. On the other hand, their two primary weaknesses this year have been: a) turning yards produced by a pretty decent offense into points b) pass defense. Doesn't bode well for the matchup against Tulsa.
  24. See, this is what I thought we'd be getting this season from Ted Ginn.
  25. that's nice and all, but alabama is still the number 2 team in the sec. That's debateable and not something I am willing to debate right now. Suffice to say, Alabama can and could beat any team in the SEC even Florida. On the contrary, word on the street is that they cease to exist between 1:26 AM and 2:07 AM on Tuesdays. Actually no their not. Florida has beaten only one legit quality team all yr and that is LSU .v. Alabama "supposedly" only quality win with GA. UF beat a Kentucky team who lost several key members of their team (if people are going to say beating Clemson isn't impressive, then beating Kentucky without their best players isn't impressive. Both teams have impressive wins over Tennessee, and Arkansas. Both teams have impressive wins over NOW mediocre teams; Clemson .v. Miami. Both have routine wins over crappy/inferior teams; Hawai'i .v. Western Kentucky. The difference between Alabama and Florida is that Alabama beat Ole Miss. I don't look at scores as indication to the quality of the team. At worst I would put Florida as 1B to Alabama's 1A until the situation changes. Face with a similar schedule Alabama has held strong, and Florida had one sign of weakness. So i SUSPECT this debate will be answer in Atlanta in December. And I love Alabama's history against Florida in SECCG. Uh...why was this a reply to me?
