A week off before a big game is kind of annoying to deal with. A few minutes to go before Arkansas v. Georgia. I'm calling Arkansas 35-27.

Our resident Wisconsin fan has to be feeling pretty good right now.

Seems like he ought to be pretty high ranked to me. He's big, can bust the big runs, and gets in the endzone. 23 touchdowns in 22 career games including tonight. I would imagine him as a 2nd round prospect at least if he keeps pace this season and didn't get hurt/bomb at the combine. That's just me eyeballing, though.

Am I crazy for feeling really good about Arkansas's chances against Georgia? Them giving up 37 to SC last week pretty much erased every ounce of intimidation I had.

I like the CBSSports 120 poll in concept because it actually attempts to rank from 1-120, rather than support the idea that 25 teams are worth talking about at any given time. That said, I don't get this week's poll one bit. http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/polls/120 It's good for poop and amusement, I guess.

Enjoy the gifts, Atlanta. 16 points off 3 turnovers, two of which were deep in Atlanta territory and got returned deep into Miami territory.

I thought this game was going to favor the offense a lot more. Our entire defense (except Abraham and Lofton) are huge question marks going into this year. I won't be surprised to see both teams put up a lot of points in the second half. Needs more Camarillo catching balls with his ankles. That was an awesome catch. Gonzalez had two nice catches too, but with his hands It's Gonzalez in the red zone, he doesn't miss.

Frustrating first half for the Dolphins. 2 big turnovers, one in the red zone, led to 10 Atlanta points. Besides that, they're actually doing pretty well on the defensive side, bottling up Michael turner and putting fairly consistent pressure on Ryan. Offense needs to establish itself to start the second half.

They have two more 5 star QB's to cycle through. If that doesn't work they could just use some of the left over Reggie Bush money to buy a new one. Though the one they got from Arkansas certainly wasn't worth the money. well, it was a package deal with a receiver.

Is Virginia the worst BCS team? Washington State? wow i didn't realize they were getting blown out at home by hawai'i. and this isn't exactly colt brennan hawai'i either; they barely beat central arkansas last week. UCA, yet another perennial I-AA top team (which is saying a lot, considering they've only been in D1 for 2 years and are subject to the playoff lockout for teams moving up a division).

He may well start over Conley, but I kept hearing rumors that they were looking for another PG anyway. I like Conley, but I'm not so sure the team is sold on him (at least right now). I don't think he'll hold Mayo back at all. I could see them being down on Conley in the first half, but after the coaching change, he was a completely different player. I certainly wouldn't give up on him now.
