    I'm sure that's exactly right. He only did this for the pub. I think (hope) sweetpete was kidding. Because that is what I said. I said he was happy for it, which was pissing me off. He kept bringing up things he did (the Ireland thing) and when he first came out he was joking with the reporters and what not.

    I've heard that Sosa spent more time in the gym than any other player. The one thing that keeps me from completely saying he did is the fact that if you look at his numbers, there actually was not a entire jump. From 94 to 98 there would have been a steady climb if he had not been injured. (He was on pace to hit over 50 in 96). While there was a jump from 97 to 98, there was still the trend.

    Yeah, Mitchell sucks. It's become clear he is happy for the publicity. Also, anyone watching the ESPN feed get some strange foreign language come over the audio? That was hilarious.

    Okay, after copying the entire text into word and using the Find function, the only mention of Sosa is when he is writing about the congressional hearings. There is no mention of Mark Prior, Kerry Wood, Albert Pujols or Nomar.

    Will some team please offer Ron Turner a HC job. His "talent" is wasting away in Chicago with that "horrible" Rex Grossman who keeps allowing his "great" O-line and "awesome" wide receivers go to waste.

    I knew about the Comiskey for the 84 series, but demolishing Wrigley is a new one. They wanted to hold it there because of night games. Wrigley didn't have lights at the time.
