  1. I'm sure that's exactly right. He only did this for the pub. I think (hope) sweetpete was kidding. Because that is what I said. I said he was happy for it, which was pissing me off. He kept bringing up things he did (the Ireland thing) and when he first came out he was joking with the reporters and what not.
  2. I've heard that Sosa spent more time in the gym than any other player. The one thing that keeps me from completely saying he did is the fact that if you look at his numbers, there actually was not a entire jump. From 94 to 98 there would have been a steady climb if he had not been injured. (He was on pace to hit over 50 in 96). While there was a jump from 97 to 98, there was still the trend.
  3. Yeah, Mitchell sucks. It's become clear he is happy for the publicity. Also, anyone watching the ESPN feed get some strange foreign language come over the audio? That was hilarious.
  4. Yeah, he was smart enough to use cash and not have it sent to Dodger Stadium... :cough:Gagne:cough: Also, is it weird that Jerry Hairston has two entries?
  5. Okay, after copying the entire text into word and using the Find function, the only mention of Sosa is when he is writing about the congressional hearings. There is no mention of Mark Prior, Kerry Wood, Albert Pujols or Nomar.
  6. Around 270 there is a check.
  7. Glennallen Hill... oh, and for those: Kent Mercker Kent Mercker pitched for nine different teams in Major League Baseball from 1989 to 2006, the Atlanta Braves, Baltimore Orioles, Cleveland Indians, Cincinnati Reds, St. Louis Cardinals, Boston Red Sox, Anaheim Angels, Colorado Rockies, and Chicago Cubs. Radomski stated that he sold one kit of human growth hormone to Mercker in October 2002. Mercker had recently undergone surgery and, according to Radomski, was seeking human growth hormone because he believed it might accelerate his recovery.407 Radomski sent the growth hormone by overnight mail; Mercker paid by check. Radomski produced one check from Mercker to Radomski in the amount of $1,600. The check number and date are not legible. It is included in the Appendix and shown below.
  8. pg 140 is about where the list starts.
  9. Dear George Mitchell: Please stop smiling. You could at least look like you aren't taking pleasure from this.
  10. I think its either, A. Soriano was kidnapped when he was young and was actually born in 1980. or, and I think this is more likely: B. Somebody is trying to get money. That, and it would probably make more sense if it wasn't in google translated spanish.
  11. and where the heck is cherry?
  12. Just because he is the only one who belongs in the majors on the market does not make him good or worth $36mil/4yrs.
  13. Will some team please offer Ron Turner a HC job. His "talent" is wasting away in Chicago with that "horrible" Rex Grossman who keeps allowing his "great" O-line and "awesome" wide receivers go to waste.
  14. actually, it lands on top of a stack of tires (part of the tire wall) which adds to it.
  15. once again, you clearly watched the whole thing
  16. No way. A wheel rolls down a hill...or a rounded baseball bat slung down to the ground stands up on its end? You clearly watched the whole thing. bravo.
  17. Why is this just being posted on Rotoworld now? This happened a couple weeks ago.
  18. #1: The real one doesn't have a mask on the guy in the trashcan. #2: His first reaction to being frightened is to fight. Thats normal for a lot of people. #3: Why is the white interviewer wearing an ECKO shirt? He is a white suburban teenager. Thats why.
  19. You're not getting rid of my posts that easily. You're not getting rid of his posts that easily. /Department of Redundancy Department/
  20. Hey, look, now it does!
  21. I didn't see a post for this, so here it is: http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3100278 Thoughts?
  22. I knew about the Comiskey for the 84 series, but demolishing Wrigley is a new one. They wanted to hold it there because of night games. Wrigley didn't have lights at the time.
  23. IMB, you make me laugh.
  24. How much you want for the Wii?
