Thinking about playoffs roster with the bench and who'll be the 4 players on it. I know the bench isnt as important now cause of DH so I was wondering if they got Billy Hamilton to be a runner for the playoffs and will Counsell allow Busch to play against Lefties or will he be starting Turner or Santana Im just figuring Amaya for sure, after that I dont know. A RH bat for first and 2 runners in Castro(IF)and Hamilton(OF)?

We'll see, they both have 2 starts left. I think if all remains the same between the two in their final starts, Taillon could get the nod over Boyd to start game 3 in the first round best of 3. Sometimes you just go with the hot arm over the one that been struggling a bit lately. I do hope Boyd ends the season on a high note though

Get him some work and saving the bullpen.. Soroka, Assad, Civale, and maybe Rea may be guys that will come in and just eat up those 2-3 innings if needed to get to the late guys or in extras in the playoffs.

Might only be 4 starts since his return but hes only had 4 bad starts all season out of his 21 where he gave up more than 3 runs. Boyd has given up 4 or more in 5 of his last 9 starts.

Has Taillon moved ahead of Boyd in the playoffs rotation? Wasn't long ago, Boyd was looking like the no.1 guy for that rotation

PCA !!! He really needed that one, i really didn't want to see him pressing the final week trying to get 2 for 30. Hopefully he'll relax a bit and hits starts coming for him along with number 30 now.

14 - 12 in games he started and 16 - 12 in overall games he played. So, he has missed alot of games this season, not sure if it'll benefit them having him on the playoff roster
