  1. Is this the season all the cubs pitchers get injured 🙄🙄🙄
  2. Problem with run average with this team is they score 12 runs one game and then struggle to get 12 total the next 4. The average will look good but the bats are too inconsistent.
  3. That the crazy part and we see it alot every season in all the divisions, teams thatvare favored sometimes get off to a slow start while teams that are supposed to be at the bottom start out hot. Eventually it all levels out, but April is funny that way. I just hope the Cubs aren't missing the opportunity to take advantage of the Brewers early on to build up a lead on them
  4. That the concerning part for me... Outside of Bregman and Ballesteros, these are the same guys we watched struggle for the most part in August and September last year, and the bulk of them are crappn the bed so far these first 14 games. The thing that aggravates me the most is that it not just a couple guys it 2/3 of the lineup slumping at the same time. I guess if there could be a good thing, it that when they snap out of it, we may see some exciting offense for a good stretch if they all break out at the same time. Just need to hope the pitching stays leveled when they do
  5. I guess if they're 10+ games out in July, Hoyer can trade a few of these guys for good prospects 🙄🙄🙄🙄🤣
  6. Cabrera not sharp today, bats still sucks Yeh April really good gonna be a gut punch for this team
  7. How bad will it be for Hoyer if they just win 75-80 games this season mainly because of struggling bats
  8. If they can figure out how to get 3 runs today, I like their chances 🙄
  9. They didn't lose this game because Thielbar gave up 2 runs, they loss because they couldn't score. Thielbar could of pitched a perfect inning and they still probably would of loss in extras.
  10. So far this team is basically playing the way they did the second half of last season
  11. Walks leadoff hitter, Suzuki and PCA up there swinging at first pitches 🤦🤦
  12. Should of challenged, now he gotta throw more pitches, already over 30
  13. I still cant log into X, its asking for a generator code for verification when I log in, I have no such code 🤦
  14. Glad theyre keeping Hoerner on top, good to see everyone healthy and in the lineup finally. Let go win a ballgame
  15. Knew both would happen, I said Maton was gonna be put on IL after his first outing against Tampa..lol I figured Carlson was gonna get booted when Suzuki came back, no need for 2 outfielders off the bench
  16. Good W, back to 500 Go home Friday and keep it going, Imanaga on the mound and Suzuki returns to the lineup.
  17. WTF he doing stealing 4 runs down, especially 3rd.. lol.. thanks
  18. At this stage of his career, I do think yes he better serves the team as a long arm and spot starter over an every 5th day guy, limiting his pitches should benefit him all season. With these early injuries, im really glad they held onto him, Assad, and even Taillon now over trading them.
