    Wish theyd get rid of that off day in middle of the first series, it kinda useless. How weird is it to schedule a DH in middle of a road trip, and theyre going to be scheduled to play 17 games in 18 days. 10 road 7 home

    They already said Steele is only going to pitch out of bullpen, I dont expect Brown to be back any time soon with the neck/vertebrae issue. I think after the deadline we can see a rotation of... New pitcher, Imanaga, Boyd, Cabrera, Taillon With a whole new look to the bullpen with a mix of Rea, Assad, Steele and possibly a new late inning arm added to it. Wiggins could be a nice addition in mid late August to pitch out of the bullpen too. The cubs could actually end up with a bullpen of guys who can legit get them 1 time through an order if needed, which would be huge in the playoffs. Of the current pen arms, only Palencia, Webb, Rolison, and Thornton are the only guys id actually be ok with keeping in the pen after the deadline and injured players returns. Maton they have to keep

    If theyre going to be a legit playoff team, theyre going to need him, Boyd, and Imanaga to step up and pitch well in the second half. Who knows when or if Brown is returning, Peterson isnt someone they can count on, (wouldn't surprise me if hes DFA or put in pen once they get healthy after August 3rd) and who knows who Hoyer will be able to get at the deadline to help.

    Are the baseline rules different between first and home then home to first, meaning runners seem to have little wiggle room going to first , but I've seen plenty of runners go wide to other bases to avoid tags or try to interfere with throws and not called out
