Kinda iffy with starting Boyd here, I get Counsell thinking with hoping to get 3 or 4 out of him today and then he'll have normal rest if there a Game 4 and also have Imanaga for Game 5 if needed, but I kinda felt with Peralta going for them this game would be a tough one to win as it was. I just figured if they lose today then at least the Cubs would have a well rested Boyd and Imanaga with extra days rest going for them in Games 2 and 3, then have Taillon for Game 4 and then Boyd with regular rest for 5.
We'll see how it works out, obviously bats have to produce, hopefully Peralta will be a little wild and rusty with only having pitched 2 innings since he went 5 on September 22nd and the bats can take advantage early.
