    Yea, I can see a merry go round rotation between playing the OF and DH with Happ,PCA,Tucker, and Suzuki giving them rest from the field and days off.

    Not sure of the roster rules but for the 2 games in Japan they don't need to add Taillon, Boyd, or Assad to the main roster do they ? They could add a couple bullpen arms and or extra bat if they want cant they ?

    Bruce Levine News from Cubs camp-Rookie Matt Shaw told me and @WatchMarquee he will start playing in games the next few games with no hesitation or restrictions.Dealing with oblique issue since Feb 5th. Jesse Rodgers Cubs 2b Nico Hoerner won't go to Japan with the team to open the season next month. He's still recovering from flexor tendon surgery. He'll stay back to continue his rehab.

    Probably just waiting it out, and just taking a look at the guys they have now along with waiting to see if anyone that they are interested in will take that 1 year minimal offer. I think after the 2 games against the Dodgers in Japan we may see Jed start putting the final pieces in place.

    Dave Kaplan says it for 6 mil.(Turner). He'll be primary a backup for Shaw and Busch, two young players, so hopefully he'll provide more coaching for them then actually filling in throughout the season. Bench is pretty much set then with Kelly, Turner, Berti, and Canario. Id still like to see them add another lefty to the pen, maybe they'll add Chafin to the same deal.

    As the roster is now, id go with 85 wins. I think they just keep their heads above water all season, no long streaks either way.

    Im surprise they haven't added Chafin yet.. Robertson and Chafin would be nice final pieces for the bullpen.

    Maybe Rickett just getting ready for the lockout 2027 season when the CBA expires in December 2026. Owners might start playing hardball with the salaries and want some kind of cap 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
