  1. I think so too, and probably another blow out. Maybe with everyone still in the clubhouse after that first game, players spoke up and horsefeathers got aired out.. Who knows
  2. Sometimes moves like this can ignite a team a bit, like i said earlier, I'd just sit him the whole series and see how it plays out. If anything he comes back this weekend refresh and ready to go
  3. W... Hmmm maybe just maybe Big sweep today, hopefully a good sign for things to come. Maybe keep Tucker on bench tomorrow too 😅
  4. Forgot to mention earlier, great start by Taillon and going 6 after piling up the pitches early. Needed that from him tonight
  5. Agree, I'll never understand PH for a guy early in a game, bench is already short, so now you got Tucker who you're trying to give time off to and the catcher with 4 innings to play and a 2 run game. Just let him hit, cause like with Busch the last time I guarentee his spot will come up later against a RHer
  6. They have a 9 game west coast trip against 2 teams under 500 and the worse team record wise after this series, on paper they should win at least 6 of them. Then in September, 25 games, outside of the 7 against the Reds and Mets, the others are all under 500 and basically the bottom of the NL record wise ahead of the Rockies, so none of them are sniffing a playoff shot. So, conservative side no worse then 12-6 against the non playoff contenders. So, even if they just go 4-3 against the Reds and Mets they should on the low side be able to win 20-22 games after this series for over 90 wins total IF they can just get back to playing good baseball again. The schedule is way in their favor as far as teams they play after the Brewers, just need to start playing better baseball and start hitting better.
  7. W. So is Tucker getting the full day off or just this game? If it were my choice, I'd sit him the whole series and have him ready for the west coast trip.
  8. That the difference, Brewers are playing with confidence and just not giving up on games, Cubs are just playing. Brewers are doing what the cubs were doing the first 2-3 months of season, no matter how far behind they just never gave up and had big innings.
  9. Maybe the tide turned for this game, cubs get the big 2 out bases loaded hit and the Brewers get the weak foul pop out. 🤷‍♂️😅
  10. Right, if this happens in June , nobody even notices because he was hitting well and the team was winning . Because he's struggling and the team is losing, every little thing gets magnified more by fans.
  11. Yep, get these guys ready for September and hopefully a strong finish into the playoffs with momentum.
