    I miscounted, so yea if he starting on Thursday it would make sense then to have him start Game 2 and Horton Game 1. RCal let hope Sunday game wont be needed to stay ahead of SD because then we are looking at Boyd for Game 1, and if hes still struggling that might not end up well.

    Have to think Imanaga will be Game 1 on regular rest, he probably will only go 5 on Thursday against the Mets. I personally feel it'll be best to go Horton for Game 2 and then they can go with Boyd with Taillon warming up as soon as Boyd gets in trouble if needed for Game 3.

    Yea this team has been lucky to the fact that outside of the 3 division leaders, the rest of the NL hasn't been all that great and they've been able to coast the last 2 months. Padres Mets Reds DBacks have all been playing on same level as Cubs and not getting hot enough to overtake them.
