  1. Just hire Girardi now if you're going to f*** around with this. This organization is turning back into a joke.
  2. Seems to me like the Cubs window is quickly shutting
  3. CharlsMeow is absolute garbage
  4. This is going to be more Arizona game than Tampa Bay. Buffalo has a defense that's going to give the offense problems.
  5. Both #2 overall picks that put up good stats early in their career, neither of which meets the eye test. I actually think this is a good comparison.
  6. Are people that encouraged by how Mitch is playing? I’m lower on him now than I ever was. The inaccuracy is a big problem and is going to cost the Bears against any team with a pulse. The numbers I’m seeing are more a product of good scheming and coaching by Nagy than Mitch being good. I do think some of his success is due to good scheming by the coaching staff (but that shouldn't be a knock against him - do you think Mike Glennon is running as successful as an offense? Do you think Jared Goff is lighting it up in a John Fox offense?) and I do think he has some accuracy issues but I think a big part of that is footwork. You see his issues when he's hurried or scrambling. A concern but certainly fixable. He has also made some really really good throws and is starting to go through his progressions better which he wasn't doing earlier in the year (possibly because its a new offense). And then of course the ability to make plays with his feet doesnt make him a better passer but it makes him a better QB as long as he's not scrambling too soon. I mean Alex Smith isn’t a bad NFL QB by any stretch but they made him look like a legit MVP candidate for a lot of last season. I guess we won’t know for sure until they need a back-up to go in there for extended time. I’m just not encouraged with Mitch, beating a good team with Mitch being the reason why they won might change things for me.
  7. Agreed. They don't even take into account the absolute weapon he's been running the ball on 3rd downs. Of course you probably could put together 7 game stretch of Cutler's career that exceed that too. So while it's encouraging, consistency and longevity will be the key. 8. What did he say that makes anyone feel this way? My guess is Murphy isn't back but not sure Theo said anything close to this.
  9. mitch had more talent and better coaching around him than cutler ever had And he's making the most of it to the tune of nearly 30 points per game and a 97 passer rating, with less experience than Cutler had before he was traded to the Bears......yet it's still not enough for you. Anyone that's actually watched games know those stats are lying. He played a great game against Tampa (the D coordinator was fired 2 weeks later) and then a half of a game against Miami. Other than that, he looks like one of the worst QB's in the NFL. If you didn't watch today's game, you'd think he had a great game but 50% completion and 2 picks along with 2 dropped picks. He was bad.
  10. Can we stop using this as an excuse? The Lions went into Miami and handled them easily.
  11. They'll beat the Jets and Bills and everyone will pretend they're good again
  12. Millennials killed chili
  13. IIRC Rizzo didn't seem like a fan of Chili in the media.
  14. Toronto threw their back-up goalie out there tonight, still think they're the team to beat
  15. Wouldn't want Starlin even if he was the nicest guy in baseball
  16. The Phillies aren't giving up their closer of the future for a dude suspended for domestic abuse.
  17. If Maddon leaves, the Cubs instantly downgrade at the position even if it's Girardi. It's nothing anyone should hope for. It's a miracle this team managed to win 95 games and some of that was Maddon.
