  1. Like a cheap and healthy Joe Crede for mid-rotation starter.
  2. Cubs (Wrigley) Cardinals (Wrigley) White Sox (Wrigley, Cell, Yankee Stadium, Metrodome) Yankees (Yankee Stadium, Metrodome) Twins (Cell, Metrodome) A's (Cell,Metrodome) Padres (Wrigley) Rockies (Wrigley) Seattle (Metrodome)
  3. I don't know what this is, but if the Sox win 80 games this year, I'll poop myself. I assume it's moochpuppy's predictions for the AL Central last year. SSR posted it because moochpuppy is very optimistic about the White Sox this year just like he apparently was last year and the Sox performed 25 games worse than moochpuppy predicted. Nothing wrong about being optimistic about your team. The previous 2 seasons the Sox had averaged 95 wins so to improve on that by two games is not optimistic but realistic. The Sox had injuries and a handfull of players that had off years compared to previous production. Anyway, we all know which fans in this town hold the patent on optimism. ;)
  4. I don't know what this is, but if the Sox win 80 games this year, I'll poop myself. http://www.depend.com/offers/coupon.asp
  5. Nothing better to do SSR?
  6. Jay Mariotti? Is that you? Pointing out the truth makes him Jay Mariotti? Truth and Mariotti should never be mentioned in the same sentence.
  7. Jay Mariotti? Is that you?
  8. And does anyone think this year's team has any chance of reaching the playoffs? I'm sorry, but when Kenny talks about the Tigers "competing with us", that is freaking funny. Or the Indians for that matter. 2005 might as well be 1905. Sure, KW has put his foot in his mouth on more than one occasion but who in sports hasn't? All I'm saying is you cannot dispute his successfull track record as Sox GM. Big difference though between 2005 and 1905. We were all here to witness 2005. BTW, I do think they have a shot of returning to the playoffs this season.
  9. This thread is amusing. Last season was the first time in 7 seasons that the White Sox finished under .500. Only six other teams can claim this kind of winning (Atlanta, Boston, LA Dodgers, NY Yankees, Oakland and St. Louis). Anyone think maybe last year was the team that was the fluke? Of course not.
  10. Anytime in March I should be good for a draft. We may need more time however recruiting managers. So far I don't think RAW or Banedon are coming back. Welcome back Tim!
  11. Starts were limited to 10 last season (5 starters x 2 starts per week) and it was your responsibility to track your opponent. I do not agree with one lineup per week. What if a player gets hurt in the middle of the week? What if you make a trade? What if you pick up a free agent? Why should you have to wait until the following week to insert these players? SB and CS I'm okay with the change. Glad to have defensive points dropped. I agree with Hosak that "holds" should receive points (maybe half the points of a save).
  12. I should be able to execute them.
  13. While I like the look of that, I disagree that it should be points that determine order of draft. I really do think the first order should be determined by record, and then points as first tiebreaker, but I am more than happy to keep it this way! FYI - This does not reflect any trades with draft choices.
  14. Dan Haren is non exempt. He had over 50 IP in 2003 so that would mean he was exempt for the 2004, 2005 and 2006 seasons. Non-exempt players will be dropped closer to the draft. Trades can be made anytime from now until keepers are finalized before the draft.
  15. earmuffs What is so difficult to hear? The reason this country is in so much trouble is because the polititans are listening to their special interest groups who fund their campaigns and not to the American people for whom they serve. This goes for all parties. I think he was referring to the curse word you let slip out... [-X 8-[ Maybe that's because you haven't checked out my trade offer. :-" BTW...hogwash?!? :-s

  17. Not all, but don't let that bother or influence you. 8-) Minus our international friends, of course. :)
  18. I would say neither since baseball keeps breaking attendance records and is more popular than ever even in the midst of the steriod scandal.
  19. Democrat, Republican, Moderate, Independant......it's all bullpucky. I'm for whoever will get this country back on it's feet!!! After all, don't we all live here?
  20. There is a sticky thread that shows all picks that have been traded.
  21. Draft order has not been set. I have not been able to get ahold of Tim within the last few weeks to help me with some of these questions.
  22. I will require a #1 pick in return and an exempt player. I will also part with some of my young exempt talent in return. :-k
  23. Are you going to reup the league before 2/7 to save some league dough?? Where are you?
  24. The draft order has not been set yet. It will be based on last years standings.
