You might not have to give up too much for say Gil Meche from the Royals. I think he would be a nice addition to the rotation. Include Jose Guillen in a deal as well.

I don't think he'd be a problem in the clubhouse and I think he'd be relatively quiet with the media (after the initial surge of him returning). If he did become a problem, I don't think he'd be around long, because this team realizes what could come of this year, and I don't think they are going to let a player distract them from getting to that goal. I'd take Bonds on this team in a second. Sure, but what do you do with Bonds when Soriano comes back? Bonds will not want to be a platoon player or someone coming off the bench. That's when he would become a distraction.

This is an unfortunate injury for the Cubs. I had hoped you guys would be at full strength for both Sox series.

Unfortunately the way Bradley handled it played right into what the announcer was saying no matter if the comparsion was fair or not.
