    Pretty sure Astros did it on the field at Dodgers stadium as well, we were in the locker room in Cleveland though. We were in the locker room because it was raining.

    I was there at Grant Park fairly close to the stage. By the time the team got there, everyone in the crowd seem to be exhausted. The grass was muddy and wet so we couldn't even sit for a little without getting muddy. So imagine standing for 6 plus hours in wet grass and mud with several thousand people around and hardly any space in between you. There was hardly any energy left in the crowd when the team got there. At that point, I think people were just happy to see them and ready to leave. With that being said, I'd do it again in a heartbeat lol It was the greatest birthday gift (my birthday was yesterday) I've ever received! The Cubs are 2016 World Series Champions!!!

    Been lurking here since 2006. This board has provided me with some nice entertainment for a long time. I've always wanted to participate but just never got around to it. Well, what perfect thread to make my 1st ever post on NSBB than a Cubs WORLD SERIES thread!!! I'm nervous, I'm excited and I can't wait to see the boys take the field in the World Series! Go Cubs!
