Really good news on Amaya even if it means his season could effectively be over. So glad it wasn't his knee. It did look at an awful lot like Canario's injury. I hope they give Caissie some starts. Let him spell Seiya and play a little DH for a bit.

He really is becoming Paredes. Even the AB prior he jumped all over a pitch on the outside shadow and pulled it 320 ft.

But when you get that label and your GM falls over himself to make the pick, you are expected to be a lot more than acceptable. People aren't saying hes gonna wash out but hes showing traits that cast doubt on whether he will be an elite franchise QB.

I mean dude you can't bring up breaking bears rookie qb records as a flex. His rating and QBR were bad, his advanced stats were bad. He took an ungodly amount of sacks because he couldn't process defenses quick enough. If you look at it objectively its easy to see why people are concerned. What did he show that resembled a generational talent, honestly? Getting outplayed by 2 QBs drafted after you doesn't help at all either. Im in full agreeance with mul21. It's a complex system and it could be rough for a few weeks. He has that excuse built-in if it is indeed the case. He will get a pass to an extent. But there are a lot of flaws in his game that will be under major scrutiny.

You're paying attention to full season numbers. Happ is dwarfing Seiya's production over the last few weeks. Seiya is killing us.

If any drastic change is to happen its Mo or Caissie for Seiya. You cant get a 400 OPS out of your DH.

I imagine even the most stoic are feeling pretty uneasy about this season. I mean it was just 2 years ago when we watched in disbelief as they blew a 90% chance to make the playoffs... what seemed unfathomable just 2 weeks ago is starting to look pretty plausible. I may be wrong about this but they have to be seeing the lowest% of 4 seams right now, especially in the zone. Pitchers are absolutely killing us with non-fastballs right now. None of them can do any sort of damage to breaking or offspeed stuff right now.
