Pitchers don't want to protect their brains because the Great Gazoo hat looks dumb. When you are pitching, hitting, or fielding I can understand not wanting to add anything that isn't 100% comfortable. They are running the base so who gives a horsefeathers. Anyway Boras already texted Kris and told him to put the gloves on. Most indications are it never caught on for cosmetic reasons and several pitchers admitted that in interviews.

Cool, now put those running mitts on please. I was trying to come up with a reason to the question you asked. And I couldn't come up with one. The best I could do is that players either think they don't look cool or that it makes them uncomfortable because they aren't used to them. Either one is a lame reason. So, yes, put them on. Basically that he was just a 1st round pick and he's only 20 but yeah he looks like a bench player. Maybe he takes to a revamped swing with the launch angle revolution or something but the likelihood is so remote. The guy sucks. -

Is there much difference between McKinney and Rutherford? Rutherford gets a 45 on his future speed and I highly doubt he'll be a quality MLB CF, so without power he looks like a 4th OF. And he also gets a 50 on his defense and a 45 on his arm. This guy looks wholly overrated. -
