    Pitchers don't want to protect their brains because the Great Gazoo hat looks dumb. When you are pitching, hitting, or fielding I can understand not wanting to add anything that isn't 100% comfortable. They are running the base so who gives a horsefeathers. Anyway Boras already texted Kris and told him to put the gloves on. Most indications are it never caught on for cosmetic reasons and several pitchers admitted that in interviews.

    Is there much difference between McKinney and Rutherford? Rutherford gets a 45 on his future speed and I highly doubt he'll be a quality MLB CF, so without power he looks like a 4th OF. And he also gets a 50 on his defense and a 45 on his arm. This guy looks wholly overrated.

    Wade set his career high for wild pitches in a season tonight. Are we asking him to bury more curves than he had in the past, or is this probably a result of going from Perez to Contreras? Actually, sorry, didn't realize he had 7 in 2013. But he'd have to not throw 2 more for this season to not surpass that. That seems unlikely.
