    Just don't force him into the leadoff spot right away. Put him at the bottom of the order and let him build some comfort for a while. Too many mentions of him being the leadoff CF of the future.

    Seriously how is he still on the roster much less pitching in fairly high leverage situations? I'm confused. What is Andrew Chafin doing so well to earn Ross' unshakable trust? He doesn't miss bats, his K-BB is 10th in our pen, his SIERA and xFIP are about a run and a half or more above his ERA. Why is Brothers in the doghouse; thats the question we should be asking. Why are we seldomly using the guy who's 2nd behind Kimbrel in K-BB? What teams essentially dispose of guys who strike out 40% of the guys they face? Even his walks were mostly in clusters. He's been good. Undeserving of pitching once a week. Zach Davies was horsefeathering pathetic today and has been mostly all year. Inefficient, got barreled several times. Why did he get the 5th inning? He gave up a laser to a horrible hitting pitcher. He gave up well-struck singles to start the inning, got bailed on a pickoff, and proceeded to walk the next guy, another shitty hitter, on 5 mostly uncompetitive pitches. He didn't horsefeathering have it, yet Ross let him unravel unchecked for some reason.

Thought for sure he had the gw hit off the bat. How long are the Cardinals gonna pretend like Reyes is a closer with his 26 walks in 29 IP. That team is such smoke and mirrors.     Would it kill Hughes to alter his dong call sometimes? I mean, no-doubters, where the OF barely move... we don't need drama. Give me a "Holy crap that ball is destroyed, so-and-so isn't even giving chase, and by the time it lands, Cubs will be in the lead" or something like that. This whole, "its got a chaaaaaaaance" on 450 bombs clearing the batters eye are just dumb to me.
