Yeah not this year but next year is gonna have 3 for sure in Mitch, Tarik, Eddie I think extending Floyd would handicap us moving forward considerably. He has to break out in a major way for me to be cool with it. Opposite of Mack and being in a more aggressive scheme with Pagano, it could happen. I want to see him in the backfield a lot this year. Hes gonna make 13m next year, he better be horsefeathering hungry this year.

In this theoretical move do you push Baez to 3rd or CF? I lean CF. I bet he would be excellent with sugnificant reps. We know hed be great at 3B but hed be more valuable in CF if he could provide plus defense. -

Sounds like Bars showed tremendous proficiency at LT tonight. Regardless of the competition he faced, his technical prowess was on full display.

He scored 13 TDs on a team that scored 33...His teammate Hakeem Butler (9 TDs in 60 receptions) is a serious WR prospect too but broke his hand in preseason I know it's college and some of these numbers need to be taken with a huge grain of salt but there were 26 backs ahead of him in TDs.

.237/.289/.456, 93 wRC, 0.2 fWAR in 384 PAs I said it at the time of the trade that if Eloy doesnt come out and hit like Nelson Cruz he will really suck. Just his rookie season at a young age but man he has been trash. -
If the Cardinals go play like .800 baseball from August to the end of September like the Brewers did last year there isn’t much you can do Common misconception about the 2018 Cubs is that they blew the division. Sure they could’ve played better but they were still winning. The Brewers won that thing. Cubs played September to roughly their overall pace. This year the record isn’t as good but a 7-3 streak is great but the Cardinals just keep winning. Frustrating. Edit: Scoring 1 run in our last 3 losses didn’t help the viewpoint but that team was still pulling out Ws. That was just the culmination of the 2nd half. In the first half they scored 476 runs in 93 (5.1 per) games with a +114 RD. In the 2nd they scored 285 in 70 (4.07) games with a +2. They played way over their heads in the 2nd half and won many games we really had no business winning. If the Cardinals had outplayed their RD that badly everybody here would be screaming magic dust luck. This year they scored 455 in 90 (5.1) and a +55 in the 1st half and are at 188 in 41 (4.6) and a +9. Not even doom-bonering here but they have sputtered in a similar fashion.
