  1. Really thought we'd go CB Tweet going around that this dude played 44 snaps vs Alabama and allowed 0 hurries, pressures, or hits to the QB. So that's cool.
  2. Patterson isn't pitching this year. Looks like he had surgery and tweeted he'll see us in 2022.
  3. This is a confident dude. He basically said, I don't care who lines up across from me, I'm going to attack you and impose my will on any man, and wear them out throughout the game. Hes not timid in any of his answers and is highly articulate. He's a good interview.Watching his interview against Fields is so interesting. Obviously Fields is used to a lot more of a spotlight on him given the program and his position. Almost every response was measured. Teven comes off way more honest and almost adolescent in his style. But yea that makes him a more fun interview. Fields was pretty boring. Hes the type who wouldn't get the job because his answers felt disingenuous/not from the heart, and he was fidgety and stammered with just about every response. Now if thats a tick he has, I take it back, and apologize for my ignorance. But it was an off-putting interview in my eyes. Surely he'll get more comfortable as he matures, though.

  5. Yeah, he's a perfect fit. Ballhawking off-man/zone corner with good instincts and obviously bloodlines. Also seems like a guy that would perform well with the talent that would surround him on this defense vs. what he had with a bunch of underachievers at FSU. But I'm a big proponent of after taking a QB early, you either protect him or give him a target with the next pick. Thats usually prudent when a team doesn't already have a Robinson and a Mooney. I'd be totally fine with an OT. But, our CB depth is thin and if Johnson gets hurt again we will get roasted. I put CB above WR as a need easily
  6. I would love for ASJ to fall to us. Loved his father's game.
  7. NFL Network had some crazy stat about there being only one first-round pick that Rodgers has ever completed a TD pass to. The Packers front office has refused to draft him a receiver his entire career. The best case scenario would have been the Packers trading Rodgers to the 49ers and then using that #3 pick on Chase [emoji38] They did draft him a couple of 2nd round WR that became pro-bowlers with Rodgers help and he also inherited another stud 2nd rounder in Jennings. In 2008 when they took Nelson, he was the 3rd WR off the board as there were none taken in the 1st. He developed into easily the best of the three and only DeSean Jackson taken later in the round has an argument vs him in the entire class. In 2014 they could have traded up for OBJ or even Cooks. But it was a super deep class and they waited till the 2nd and landed a future All-Pro in Adams. Poor Aaron has never lacked weapons.
  8. This is only the 4th Buckeye we've drafted in this century.
  9. Ok this is perfectly horsefeathering reasonable. Great job, Pace!
  10. Of course Sogard is gonna carry a 25% K rate as a Cub
  11. Haven't seen him take a curve deep for quite some time
  12. What, Myrtle and South Bend swapped levels? I must have missed that.
  13. Who the horsefeathers cares about this horsefeathers. The fact is, the Cubs have 3 games this year where they scored more than 5 runs, and in each of them, they annihilated some back end of the roster shlubs. They could very well make the playoffs or the make the play-in again; but we know who these guys are and what we can expect if that pitcher is pumping gas and staying up in the zone. No one does. My post was dripping with sarcasm Sorry. I thought it maybe was but wasn't sure.

  15. Schwarber caught up with heat above the zone. Strange indeed.
  16. Can we convince Happ to drop the switch hitting charade? And never let him bat vs Hader.
  17. Heyward got a grounder through the right side Thank God we didn't lose to these losers
  18. Bote has the feign the bunt to get favorable calls down pat
  19. Jed, you horsefeathering ass, get this schmuck off the team already!
  20. Kimbrel threw 7 pitches. Why the hell are we using horsefeathering Winkler here.
