Seiya's approach was so obviously putting him behind the 8 ball. Glad they finally took the step to address it. He has a good shot at ending with a 120 or so this year.
  2. We Got The Whole 9
Belli comes through again, what a beast
  3. We Got The Whole 9
    Nice swing Candy
  4. We Got The Whole 9
That inning was pathetic. This dude doesn't throw hard. How could you not get one ball off the ground?

Caissie is significantly younger. It's pretty obvious why he gets more leniency. But man none of this matters. Are you taking umbrage with this board's top 10 or is this more of a general ranking among the masses? You are completely obsessed with this and I don't even see anyone here that doesn't actually like Murray.

Who was the last Cubs first rounder to make a start with the Cubs? Was it freaking Prior?
  7. We Got The Whole 9
    Punctuation mark to Cutch
  8. We Got The Whole 9
Wow at first glance I thought he went for sure
  9. We Got The Whole 9
Amaya shouldn't get rewarded for that. The offense needs to get it together. Teams are just trolling us by throwing any old JAG out there and they are dominating us.
  10. We Got The Whole 9
    Just ripped an RBI double

The real question is why did he ever go the heavy 4 seam route and eschew ground balls. I think his cb was just for the element of surprise and it stopped surprising people.
  12. We Got The Whole 9
    Another oppo shot
  13. We Got The Whole 9
I wouldn't be surprised if no team is willing to give a 1st and the Bears 2nd is the closest to their wish.

Robert came this close to a 350 ft OF assist on this brilliant play. The way he gets a great jump and gets back on this ball so quickly to make the catch is outstanding. How embarrassing that would have been for Vaughn if the throw was on time and he dropped it like that. https://www.mlb.com/video/jesse-scholtens-in-play-out-s-to-brent-rooker-tbe04o?q=ContentTags == ["defense","gamepk-716864"] Order By Timestamp DESC&pt=Defensive Highlights&p=0

Another double for Canario. Just hitting lasers all over the field right now.

    Meh, Steele
  17. We Got The Whole 9
Aw come on Justin, needed an out there
  18. We Got The Whole 9
Canario has another homer tonight already

Any idea what kind of contact rate PCA has been running? I'm thinking he's probably low-mid 70s?
  20. We Got The Whole 9
if you could, would you trade for Trout?
  21. We Got The Whole 9
That was weird. They showed he walked a 2nd guy in the 4th but changed it shortly after. Really nice to see him and Ferris matching excellent starts again.
  22. We Got The Whole 9
4 walks for Horton and I'm not sure he's gonna make it out of the 4th
  23. We Got The Whole 9
Doval walks Schwarber and Turner and Harper blasts a game tying shot
  24. We Got The Whole 9
Love that we keep winning series. Good job today to get off the mat after the haymaker.
  25. We Got The Whole 9
I absolutely hate making the 3rd out there. Stay on first and third!
