  1. Remember how much we laughed when Brewers fans thought their front office and future outlook was better than ours? What idiots they were it ended up being that way, but they weren't right. they thought we were doomed because we traded away guys like eloy/gleyber and then gave out some bad contracts. they didn't know/predict that a) the ricketts would suddenly cutoff spending and b)all our good players would slowly get worse Speaking of those guys They suck too
  2. Now this is a post I can agree with. I actually think Nagy can be an acceptable coach (in a Tony Dungy situation where he's the figurehead that lets his coordinators call the shots on gameday). And I think Pace could be an acceptable GM based on talent evaluation, if he starts valuing draft picks. But they are both problems, but they aren't the only problems. There's problems everywhere. I don't think they're disasterous problems, but obviously they will continue to be problems without serious changes in philosophies. Maybe they'll figure it out with their next franchises and a part from each other. The absolute best case outlook for each of them is that their collaboration line was even more BS than we realized. How does the GM decide to keep Graham at 7M to be used like he is by his head coach? Sure seems like they forgot to collaborate on that one. There has to be a disconnect between the 2. Not only what you mentioned with Graham; for fucks sake, Pace used his highest pick in 2020 on a guy who thus far has 12 targets in the first 3 games of his 2nd year, and just 5 over the last 2 games. Pace is trying to force his hand to utilize TE, loading up the roster with them, and Nagy just refuses to capitulate and just digs his heels in even deeper. Kmet is gonna be another Olsen. Just watch. Maybe not equal caliber. But I bet this is a guy who can be very productive in a system that emphasizes TE production. I mean everybody knows they are a young QBs favorite security blanket. horsefeathering get him involved.
  3. Had more to do with the teams they were playing. I'm guessing the Bears look like a competent offense on Sunday too. Nagy has gone like 40-50 games without his offense putting up 30 points. I'm sure they faced plenty of crappy teams. He just can't run a high-function offense and it should be apparent to everybody.
  4. You and I both know very well that the Cardinals are somehow going to end up winning the WS. That franchise is just blessed that way. Seriously. They have easily the worst team to ever win it (06), maybe the 2nd-worst (11) and if they hadn't gagged a 3-1 lead to SF in 12, they'd probably have won that year too with a playoff spot that had never existed before the season. This is what they do. Damn, if those just didn't count they'd only have like 7 more WS than the Cubs
  5. How long will he be able to hide behind the guise of a complicated offense. Like the rest of the league is running the T Formation or something. Such a damn joke.
  6. I wasn't able to watch the game, thank God. But I saw a tweet saying he had an average of .78 seconds to throw the ball LOL So this was basically Cutler vs the Giants all over again? I understand that there's gotta be plenty of other plays, like raw pointed out, where his indecisiveness hurt him big time. But I mean, being led to slaughter like that can't be good for the psyche either. Foles might enter the picture next week if this keeps up. We can't let Justin get destroyed like that. It feels like at the end of the day he's probably not as ready as a lot of us believe he is.
  7. God that tragedy at Petco is totally heartbreaking. I cannot imagine being that father, who possibly/seemingly was elsewhere in the park when that occured. Coming back to your family and discovering that... really unfathomable. https://amp.usatoday.com/amp/5873999001
  8. Soto's 2nd half line now LOL 381/545/713 73:32 (34:8 in his last 30 games AYFKM) Actually not as good as Harper but this is a horsefeathering 22 year old wunderkind
  9. So yesterday at the Trop was a lot of fun. Highlights include: Free parking at the brewery less than a 10 minute walk from the park Rays kicked their asses but I got to see some 113 bullets from Vlad First time being in attendance for an ejection(s) and benches clearing, although no fisticuffs First time I saw a team clinch in person, although only a playoff spot so there was not a huge celebration. Weird seeing it being business as usual for the Rays Group pic with DJ Kitty Lowlights: 8500 people don't make a lot of noise Their sound system is straight trash. There are no lows at all and the speakers at the roof sound like that kid pushing a Civic with house speakers in the back. Not sitting where a friend was because if I were I would have caught the ball Arozarena threw into the crowd between innings that cleared his hand by just a few inches and I'm about a foot taller than him and would have had it easily
  10. Brennen didn't even make Law's honorable mention list for Prospect of the Year (20 players listed) but he ranked Triantos 2nd behind OF Jay Allen of the Reds for top 2021 draft pick performance
  11. The lack of All Pro selections will hurt him/them Hester is the only of the 4 that I see getting in. He was just in a whole other stratosphere. Tillman forced more fumbles than you would ever expect from a CB but I'm not sure that's enough to make him a HOF. Hester will be our last HOF inductee for quite some time. I kind of don't think they'll vote him in on the first shot.
  12. He did it in 300 fewer PA tho
  13. But his false starts though...
  14. Had a perfect opportunity to get off the horsefeathering field. Come on defense.
  15. They went through some freezing cold stretches vs MIA. Whether it was Korver or Bogans that couldn't hit the key 3 or Rose or whoever that couldn't get the layups to fall, there were long stretches of futility. We should have won that series. It felt like Udonis Haslem was a really big factor and really took away our scoring inside. And, obviously, LeBron. I was pretty fired up about the Noah pick because of his hustle and defense but I was definitely concerned that his game wouldn't translate well. But he was a lot of fun to watch at Florida, even though his offensive game was highly limited.
  16. Elias says we are the first team to lose multiple games by 8+ runs in which we led by 7 Take that, Record Book!
  17. Minor technicality but they lost the Brewer game 15-7 lol
  18. Velasquez had a really nice night also. Will never post a great BBK but he's sitting right under a 1.0 OPS in AA, surely opening some eyes.
  19. There it is horsefeathering God awful season for Hendricks
  20. I couldn't find it on my ESPN+ the day after. I figured that it would be archived. Is it only going to be available live?
  21. Wicks got beat up with 2 out and none on in both of his innings tonight. Anyone watch, have reports?
  22. https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/gamefeed?date=9/13/2021&gamePk=632489&chartType=pitch&legendType=pitchName&playerType=pitcher&inning=&count=&pitchHand=&batSide=&descFilter=&ptFilter=&resultFilter=&hf=exitVelocity#632489 If you sort by EV and click on Home Run under result, it has a image of the trajectory that shows 34 ft Answer was right under my nose. Thank you dude.
  23. Thinking I have a pretty good shot at seeing Vlad bash number 50 on the 22nd
