  1. They've won plenty of games in spite of his decisions that didn't work out. Let's wait a bit before we flip out.
  2. Hmm he's allowed 18 HR in 77 innings. I believe that is horrendous.
  3. I am really happy with the way they've responded after consecutive crushing losses. I love how locked in Seiya is right now and Steele has my CY vote. Just such an impressive season with the ERA+. I don't think it should be downplayed.
  4. The offense seeming to be running on fumes down the stretch no matter what the personnel or coaches is getting really tiresome
  5. Man am I allowed to vent some horsefeathers frustrations that are steaming out of my ears
  6. Cannot wait until Madrigal is no longer a Cub. What a useless hitter.
  7. Man I feel good about him in a rotation. Outstanding job lately and amazing tonight
  8. That is some gangster ass horsefeathers from Assad
  9. I got a 46. That's the best I've scored in a few weeks.
  10. Screw the K extraordinaires in the era of Ks. My CY vote is for Steele, What's holding him back is the IP from his injury but IMO the pitchers carrying ERAs that low these days deserve all the flowers. Him and Snell 1a and 1 b. Snell being 1b because the park he pitches in. Hope Assad can keep trimming those walks. His pitchability grade is pretty dang high. Good pitcher. Extremely valuable to the org.
  11. His Zips projections are basically why bother IMO
  12. That's right, but 95 would've been the same thing. Then again 85 is basically the same thing. NBD. Honestly though, my preferred approach, if you are to limit the workload, would be how I mentioned before. I would think it would be better to get them into a consistent routine and allow them to go full-bore when they are unleashed. IDK. I wouldn't think that, as a pitcher, you would like being yo-yoed and certainly not capped so you can get a little rusty during the stretch run.
  13. Yup. The offense really set us up perfectly to navigate this DH and not wear out the staff for the rest of the series.
  14. He had a tough time locating arm-side for the first inning but settled in nicely. He made one of the best plays off the mound that I've seen a Cubs pitcher make in some time. Really had to be perfect to get DLC and he was.
  15. OTOH he's a sturdy athlete who has thrown that many pitches in a game at some point in his life before and we are playing a double header with Shane Greene starting his first game in 7 years or something in game 2. He did a great job. Now we need to put up a crroked number and keep some stress off of the pen.
