  1. 2 months later and William Contreras still leads the league in framing. Voodoo magic over there I tell ya.
  2. Iowa making another comeback. Quite a slugfest. Slaughter with a chance to do more damage. Slaughter walks with juiced bases and they're down 1.
  3. Yeah we are talking about a 9.77 RAS vs a 9.55 with the difference clearly being in the size category. But Brown beats him in speed and explosion. Sounds like his blocking is a significant weakness, too, but I would be thrilled if they added Brown to the backfield.
  4. Just realized I was behind on the game just a little. Nice job by Fulmer.
  5. Had em on the ropes. That was not a good AB by Seiya, too antsy and expanded the zone. Should have gotten another run there for sure.
  6. He really stabilized the game for Iowa and then Borucki goes and gives up a 3 run HR immediately lol
  7. Iowa roaring back. Slaughter coming around. 2 doubles yesterday and just hit his first dong.
  8. How big is the gap between Bijan and Brown? Brown's athletic profile is really horsefeathering good, so was his rushing production, but he didn't catch many balls. However, how much of that was a function of the offense? IIRC he looked smooth in the catching drills.
  9. I hope we take Brown or Gibbs later if we want a RB. Saying it again, getting rid of Mustipher was horsefeathering huge, Dude got physically dominated constantly and also whiffed on way too many assignments altogether. Adding Davis on the line, and potentially adding a starting T and a C that can push Patrick - I think we see that pressure rate drop significantly. Fields should have a squad that leaves no room for excuses for production.
  10. He ran a 4.5 at his pro day and we see a lot of comps to Kupp and St. Brown and those guys were 4.6. JSN's 3-cone beat them both as well. I really want that security blanket to draw heavy coverage in the short-intermediate so that Moore and Mooney can take the top off. Kmet would feast as well with JSN getting so much attention.
  11. Morel just went deep off of one of the most unhittable pitchers in the minors, Andrew Abbott. Kid has 43 Ks in 20 IP. That's the first HR hes allowed.
  12. This is the team that wrung 30 dwar out of Omar Narvaez in his 2.5 year stint with them. Skepticism is wise here but there is recent precedent of those early shaky catcher metrics actually holding up when the sample becomes meaningful.
  13. Getting horsefeathering Mustipher out of there probably reduces his sacks by a quarter at least lol
  14. Those are the only acceptable picks for you at 9? I want them to trade down, but if they don't, I would be cool with a few other players if they make it to 9 - JSN, Witherspoon, maybe even Nolan Smith.
  15. I am seriously annoyed that the Brewers have yet again turned chicken horsefeathers to chicken salad with a catcher. The heist of William Contreras really sticks in my craw, Seeing him and his brother as the best defensive catchers in the game so far - like, horsefeathers off.
  16. I really didn't think the whole hey let's turn Steele into a modern version of Lester was going to go so well. He still has bouts of wildness that make me nervous the house is about to collapse but he is just so good at missing barrels and manages to wiggle out of those jams.
  17. And the Dodgers likely haven't fixed Jason Heyward. He is 3-33 since he last hit a HR with an 11 wRC+.
  18. Roquan trying to be Lamar's agent now? Sent from my motorola one 5G UW using Tapatalk
  19. I'll be annoyed if they don't have Slaughter in Iowa. He's 26 and had almost 400 PA at AA last year. We need to see if he can carry that over to the higher level. Sent from my motorola one 5G UW using Tapatalk
  20. FA to be Rhys Hoskins may have blown out his knee today on a play behind 1B. Sent from my motorola one 5G UW using Tapatalk
  21. Well Sammy, I didn't even have to click the link to know who is injured lol Sent from my motorola one 5G UW using Tapatalk
