Not Edge but he absolutely should have made major plays for Hargraves and Calais so he wouldn't have been forced into the double dip Dexter and Pickens. The dude has had near record-breaking cap space and has added 2 LBs with it and that's it. That's egregious. He signed a bunch of horsefeathers just to meet the floor.
Presumably because of lack of turnovers, Spotrac had Johnson as a ~10m guy just last month IIRC. He probably wants top CB money, which he arguably hasn't earned. Curious to see the numbers bandied about.
Of course he's gonna be around. Georgie zeroed in on him and met him at the airport and dapped him up and all that less than 2 years ago. Pace was given 6 years and 3 of those were after the Trubisky debacle.
Technically they could have Sweat for 2.5 seasons. They have plenty of cap space to tag him twice. That's... something.
Still Poles is a horsefeathers for how he's treated Free Agency/the roster in general.
I feel like he's gonna turn and trade Johnson for a 3 now. IDK what to think honestly. Sweat is awesome and we need to stop letting QBs masturbate in the pocket like freakin Homelander.
I really don't understand what the ref saw to blow that whistle on the deep pass to Mooney. He was so irrefutably not touched. This needs to be under heavy scrutiny. Who blew the whistle and how long have they been officiating for?
And you guys said there was a second long gain/possible TD erased by a dumb whistle. Can anyone link the clip? There was too much going on when I was watching it last night.
