Triolo is 6'3 with an approach at the plate. He's not a slap hitter. Plus he's a 55/60 with the glove, that is significant.

Just to play devil's advocate, neither QB ever had an elite OL or anything close to it. The 2 times in my life where 1-5 was solid-great, they went to the SB in the window. They are just braindead when it comes to this. Cutler suffered from this horsefeathers too. horsefeathers J'Marcus Webb lmao.

Triolo looks pretty solid. No power but a really solid approach. Interesting idea.

Although I am not gung-ho about pursuing Chapman, they cannot be prisoners of the moment over something like that. Matt Chapman has not been below average with the bat in 7 MLB seasons and his 110 last year still counts even if it was due to his April and May. I hope they don't go beyond 3-4 years but I would still be confident that he would turn in a 110+ season, and that is very good.

The Dodgers turned Oompa-Loompa Muncy into a fine/servicable 3B. I think a lot of this is unnecessary hand-wringing.

Have we shown any interest in Stanek? 98 avg on the FB and huge whiff rates on his slider and split. Easy to see a potential bounce back. Tom mentioned him; I think we should be all over him.

Stroman gets 2 years with a vesting option for a 3rs with Yankees. AAV unknown.

Suter's deal is 2.5 this year with option for 3.5 in 25. Would have loved to have him at that price. Stroman signs with Yankees for 2 years and a vesting 3rd.

Well if a lot of the concern with him lies in his arm, Madrigal just showed he could provide value there even with a noodle. I think they might not believe in Morel's instincts there, on top of the arm slot concerns.

Man you nod off at work and miss everything. This is a shocker. I am pretty confident the Dodgers will iron-out Ferris' control issues and will be a top prospect next year. Busch has hit everywhere but they also play in hitter-friendly environs. I like that he had a 72% contact rate in the Majors despite the high K rate and a 50% hard hit rate despite horrid results. Feels like he's gonna figure it out at the MLB level and be a solid hitter.

They have Steele Imanaga Hendricks Taillon Smyly Assad with Horton and potentially Brown waiting in the wings. I doubt they add another, but maybe a Suter malleable type.

Damn I had no idea Cruz got to 6 overall. I knew he had hype and his stuff was nasty but I didn't realize he had that much hype. Wasn't it Bonds who faced all our young guys in ST and said Guzman had the best stuff?

I haven't looked at the FA class but if he got Evans, some legit IOL and DL help, and drafted Williams and one of the top LT options with the 9 or maybe another slot if he trades down again, I'd be thrilled with our roster outlook.

So I think over the next couple days we are gonna see Jed's plan really come to life. Bellinger, Hoskins, Stephenson, Moore. They'll be the division favorite to some. I kind of don't think he's gonna make a big trade. He wants his prospects to supplement the roster. It's gonna be a pretty good roster.
