  1. This. Meanwhile Ray McDonald was able to play the entire time although DA now won't press charges so maybe it was a good thing, but inconsistent. I feel somewhat bad for Greg Hardy. Even if he wins in court next year, Goodell still might suspend him for the whole 2015 season since he doesn't consider this season counts toward time served (which is a load of crock IMO) and well... just because he can.
  2. He's also like 6'1" at best. Dude was a bowling ball at that position.
  3. I'd be worried about Dupree's ability to play 4-3 DE, just like I'm not sure Vic Beasley and Shane Ray can. Obviously all three are more athletic than Shea McClellin but I'm pretty nervous about tweeners who are better fits in a 3-4. I wish his name was Kenny. =D>
  4. That's kinda how it would be if he was a Bears fan. You at least know who those guys were. To make a comparsion, Greg Lloyd to the Steelers is what Singletary/Urlacher is to the Bears although Harrison probably passed Lloyd. Dude was REALLY well known in the 90s even if you weren't a Steelers fan. He's the dude who said [expletive] in his post game interview after beating Colts in the AFC championship. 5x Pro Bowl (91-95) 3x 1st team All-Pro (93-95) Yeah I was naming guys that he would've watch when we were 7-14 and I figured that's how he became a Steelers fan in the first place because I grew up watching those guys on TV along with the Bears. It was just really weird.
  5. immigrant? Nope. Lived in Indiana his whole life.
  6. At least it's not like the Colts where the last 4 times they drafted #1 and those 4 are Elway, Jeff George, Manning, and Luck. Thankfully Elway didn't want to be at Baltimore so he got traded and George didn't exactly live up to the expectations, but still... every time Colts had a horrible season, they were lucked out that there was 3- once in a generation type QB and a no brainer 1.1 pick in the coming draft in those years. Packers traded for Favre and I forget why Rodgers dropped to 24th to Packers' lap ([expletive] Benson at #4). Rodgers also benefited from learning under Favre for 3 years and be in a good situation. You're right though, they'll find a way to somehow not miss a beat after Rodgers.
  7. My favorite is the fan who LOVES their team or claim to be a huge fan, but really don't have a clue about the history of the team. A year ago on Thanksgiving, I was talking to a cousin of mine who is a "big Steelers fan". As we were talking about them, I asked him who is his favorite Steelers and he said James Harrison. We were talking about the recent and current Steelers then I started mentioning Greg Lloyd, Carnell Lake, Kirkland, Greene, and the Blitzburgh Steelers era and he just gave me a blank stare. He literally knew none of those guys except for Rod Woodson and Kevin Greene (because he remembered him as a Panthers). It was just mind boggling to me because, mind you, he's 33 so he should know those guys if he's a big fan of the Steelers. So I think he was a James Harrison fan first then became a Steelers fan so he didn't know anybody really before like '04. So every couple months, I'll send him a video of the Blitzburgh Steelers or Steel Curtain Steelers on facebook so he can brush up on the history of his team.
  8. I would expect offices/stores/bar or restaurant/etc on the first floor then rentals or offices above then the bleachers rooftop (the ones without a ton of obstruction).
  9. I can understand someone being a fair weather fan to Packers/Pats/Ravens/Colts/Steelers and then just jump ship right before they start sucking. Bears in the past 14 years don't have that kind of track record. Fair weather fans also aren't gonna go to the Jags/Raiders/Bucs/Lions/Bills either. Like you said, they been consistently close to .500 for a lot of those years. They're not bad enough for fair weather fans to abandon them because their worst was 7-9 (which isn't even that bad) in the past 10 year and not consistently good enough to attract them. 2005/2006 was the last time they won 9 or more games in back to back seasons then you have to go back to 94/95 for the next time they did that. One way I can see it is if you're not really a fan of NFL so you don't watch it much and you're from around Chicago or your family are Bears fan so you'll watch them when they're good and don't care when they're bad because you're not a fan of pro football anyway. Maybe it's just where I'm at. I don't hear things like "Oh I'm a Bears fan this year because they're good! or Bears suck so I'm a ____ fan now". Then all the Colts fans around here didn't jump ship when they went 2-14 in 2011 or went with Peyton and became Broncos fans.
  10. LOL that is crazy to think about. If they beat Ole Miss and Missouri, I could see them sneak in the 22-25 range. Has there ever been a 5 loss team in the top 25 ranking ever?
  11. At the very least, sell them on Stubhub or give them away at face value at lower. I know STH's that have 4 tickets and they've given them to me at face value ($70). Plenty of people still want to go to Bears games regardless of the record because tickets are so hard to get. But I guess if you're rich. Lowest face value ticket this year is $81. I have four, I had to sell two last minute because my fair weather friend said he had to cancel because it's too cold and the Bears suck. At least he could have lied and said his kid was sick. I sold them on stub hub Saturday for $73. And the people who bought them ended up being pretty cool people. Never invite him to a game again. That's a terrible friend and a terrible excuse. This x725984039234. Also, how can you be a fair weather fan to a team like the Bears? I'm not sure if I ever met one as everyone around here is either a die hard Colts or Bears fan.
  12. Yeah, but most of these kids were'nt around for that and definitely were'nt getting PT. That win over LSU last night after starting 0-17 in the SEC was a huge release for the players, the fans and the staff. It's easily the best this program has felt since Petrino left. Yep. You could tell that they were close against all these ranked teams this year, but couldn't get over the hump/close the deal. The win over LSU is HUGE. They also had quite a few notable recruits at that game from what my buddy told me and they got a good class coming in that could end up being better (7- 4 star recruits that have committed so far after only landing 3 last year).
  13. I don't know why, but whenever I look at La Stella's #, he reminds me of Grugzielanek with more BB.
  14. That was a play Cutler should've called a timeout on.
  15. Me either, but if Cutler did that, they would've called it.
  16. Nope. A LOT more stupid decisions this year and no guts to really go for it.
  17. He is most of the time. Playcalling has been part of it, but the biggest part? I haven't seen a single drop today and Marshall/Jeffery are catching all the hard passes. Makes a huge difference on Cutler looks just on those 2 things.
  18. Arkansas is finally going to beat a ranked team and break their conference losing streak. Not only that... it could also be a shutout.
  19. lol Trestman & pals http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff73/Antho1313/jku.jpg Ok, maybe this was just meant to suggest they're clowns, but those are the murderous, human eating Killer Klowns From Outer Space, which suggests levels of weird I don't understand. I'm Jo-Jo the ice cream clown, we'll give you a stick, you'll give it a lick. And it'll tickle you all the way down. Ice cream, ice cream, we brought our goodies here to you! A tasty treat for while you screw! Let's take a break! Cool off those hot lips with our frozen fruity bars! Icy-wicy, fudgy-wudgy bars. And everyone's frozen delight, the lick a stick!
  20. Yea that'd be a good example. But I leave in Marshall because who gives a [expletive] about Josh Morgan. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I wish Marquess Wilson was healthy enough to play this week. This would've been a perfect game for him to get some game experience.

  22. Last year? A lot of things. This year? nothing at all. It's Jekyll and Hyde.
  23. LOL Not only that, but they messed up on the 30 pts/gm. It's supposed to be 20 pts/gm. Bird also did this in '86-'87. Then apparently Jeff Hornacek is PJ Tucker now. WTF?? This is just as bad as the Falcons to London graphic. I can't figure out what it's supposed to be. If that's true than why PJ Tucker? Or did Horny pull of the elusive 20-5-50-40? Hornacek did do the 20-5-50-40 that year (91-92). It's supposed to be 20-5-50-40, not 30-5-50-40. Bird technically did the 30-5-50-40 in 87-88 with 29.9 pts/gm. Also Bird actually did it 4 years in a row, but they actually left out 86-87 season for some reason.
