    Do they ever take just half a squad to a game and leave the rest in camp and call it "split squad"? I haven't heard of that happening, but I can't say that I know for sure it doesn't. Since this is a home game, though, it doesn't make sense to me. I'm guessing it was just an error on cubs.com. Tomorrow is split and next Saturday is split; it may just be a case of the split squad symbol being shown on the schedule for today by mistake. The White Sox have a split squad game today. Im pretty sure if the split-squad symbol is after the team name, that means that they are facing a team that has the split squad. That's why next Saturday's game against the White Sox has a split-squad symbol before and after the team name, since the Cubs and White Sox both have a split squad game.
