  1. LINEUP Fukudome Theriot Lee Ramirez Soriano Byrd Soto Castro Wells
  2. They've had a weak schedule this month. They've played 7 games this month against a team with an over .500 record (Cardinals, Mets, Braves) and are 4-6 against them. They're 12-3 against teams that are under .500 (7 against the Pirates, Brewers, Cubs, and Indians). And now they have another series in Houston. It's hard to believe they'll keep playing at the same pace when they start to face tougher pitching later in the year.
  3. Even if we get swept by the Cardinals, I'd still be happy going 7-6 during the 'Death March'.
  4. Wait that's really the lineup? Did Lou finally wake up? Nope. Lou decided to tweak the lineup, batting Nady 7th and Castro 8th.

  14. 4:05 Eastern time (or the equivalent where you live) is night? My bad. I meant to say every other game this week besides this one
  15. Glad that I have Spring Break this week. Although it doesn't really matter since all of the games this week are night games #-o Still, it will be nice keeping up with all of the other games this week
  16. Colvin has made the opening day roster http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20100328&content_id=8976604&vkey=news_chc&fext=.jsp&c_id=chc
  17. Interesting. The article says 18 pitchers are left. The active roster though only has 17. Two of those are Guzman and Lilly who aren't opening the season on the active roster. That only leaves 3 pitchers who need to be cut/sent down. One of those will be Mateo. Will they keep Parisi even with a mediocre spring? And is Gray very likely to be ready for the start of the season? Unless there is a supposed 18th pitcher that isn't on the roster, it looks like there is a pretty good idea of how the pitching staff will shake out. Now it's pretty much just who will be in the rotation and who will be in the bullpen. James Russell is still in camp but isn't on the roster. He's competing for the last bullpen spot, but it looks like the organization is leading toward Berg.
