  1. didn't len once say he would do it, but then bailed? that might be because you got used to len sounding like kermit the frog for 16 years. i'm pretty sure we almost unanimously HATED that at first. i remember him calling a derrek lee home run against arizona in the first series of the year and being like wtf was that
  2. this is pretty fun
  3. it's insane that they always do this. so many dumb players
  4. geez louise
  5. the schedule over the next month is pretty crazy. 9 of their next 11 are against TB (14-4-1) and FLA (13-4-3). having said that, florida's goal differential is only 3 better than the hawks'. columbus is falling off hard, and dallas has like a million games to make up. i think the hawks are maybe the favorite for that last spot, or will be if they can navigate this next stretch without completely falling apart.
  6. I always liked zach but I never dreamed of him putting up numbers like these
  7. i'm much more annoyed at coby than the bad call. so horsefeathering stupid. and why does BD always run out of timeouts before the final play? he didn't need to burn both of those near the end of the game, and it costs them again.
  8. that 2027 masters win is going to be wild
  9. it actually feels weird seeing bryant in a cubs uniform now
  10. they were down 25 in the first half. zach just took this game over, and pwill has been tremendous
  11. we may really have something in lankinen
  12. i wasn't really serious about the playoffs this year. i can see a future, though
  13. Take it FWIW, but one reporter (can't remember which) said that he actually had better offers and chose this one instead. Every free agent in history had turned down better offers to go to where he truly wanted to be. the better offer was actually 5 million to play on a real team
  14. selling good players and then giving 7 million to jake arrieta, funkin classic
  15. beaudin and mitchell are so promising
  16. durant seems like an overall good guy but i just have a hard time taking him seriously with all the weird and insecure stuff he's always saying online. the fake account stuff kind of pushed it over the edge. and wasn't he whining about being removed for covid protocol the other day? it's a pandemic dude, having to miss some basketball games isn't that big of a deal. i have no reason to think any of those 3 guys are bad people (except maybe kyrie i guess), but they are all just so annoying
  17. rooting against the nets is fun
  18. zach is going for 50 tonight
  19. zach absolutely going off in the first quarter. 7/8 with 20 points, 5/5 from 3
  20. debrincat is already an all-star type player. dach certainly has it. strome has as much potential as anyone (but i don't think he'll reach it). beaudin/mitchell/boqvist have all-star potential on the other side. i think "decent" is underselling the situation. they don't have any superstars, but kane still figures to play at a superstar level for a while longer. the problem is that they have several bad contracts that aren't up for 2-4 years.
  21. back to back wins in dallas 1 regulation loss in the last 11 games this team is loaded with young talent. it's all about navigating the bad contracts we still have. seabrook is still an absolute killer.
  22. He really sucked down the stretch though. Took over possessions that led to chucking up bad shots and then missed a layup with seconds left that would have given the Bulls the lead. It was not a super easy layup but it’s one he should have made or drawn the foul he had to take those shots, because there is absolutely nobody else to score, especially when lauri is out. when he plays the more passive playmaker role, they get blown out. ultimately he just can't win because he doesn't have real nba players around him. either he takes tough shots, or he passes it and watch his teammates throw up constant bricks. it's insane how many minutes they have to give to complete scrubs like denzel/temple/gafford. and then there' s coby, who has completely imploded.
  23. i can't even imagine how frustrated zach must be playing with these guys
  24. nevermind, it actually is hans zimmer
