i love darvish but i feel like trading him is a good idea, even if we aren't blowing it up. he would get an awesome package, and i feel like his arm is inevitably going to blow up again at some point, and then we get nothing. this is a perfect opportunity to make that signing a long-term win.

obviously jordan was the biggest, but len leaving has bummed me out in a unique way. he had become such a comforting voice to me. losing him feels like more than just baseball loss. i know it's stupid.

losing len hurt me more than any chicago athlete leaving ever has. i guess we all just assumed that he would be here for a very long time. I’m not sure how old you are, but if you’re on this board, you probably remember losing the greatest athlete of all time to minor league baseball. i was still a kid, i wasn't as miserable as i am now

i believe it was homophobic At the risk of coming off sus, as the cool kids say these days, I've known him for most of my life and that'd be way out of character for him, so I'm going to say it's neither of those. ....aside from the typo in his first post, of course. you must be thinking of someone else. rawdog flipped out and went on a rant that was definitely either racist or homophobic. i'm 99% sure it was homophobic. edit: maybe i'm thinking of sontensei too
