  1. Not even close You're delusional. No offense to you personally. The fact that the players choke every season has nothing to do with the organization. They put a great team on the field. Sorry, but this is not a great team. Best record in the NL, 97 wins, dominant pitching staff, best offense in the league. Yeah you're right, they weren't a great team. Celarly the FO is to blame. the 97 wins were a fluke and now they're being exposed as a sham. good call.
  2. Not even close You're delusional. No offense to you personally. The fact that the players choke every season has nothing to do with the organization. They put a great team on the field. I'll keep asking till I get an answer: What level of underperformance over what sample is needed to suspect an organizational effect? Surely we can study this statistically instead of just spewing dogma. You're a god damn moron. If you want to blame it on the pressure that is on the team with the 100 year thing, then fine. But stop acting like the organization is to blame. You sound like an idiot. They built a 97 win team with very few flaws. It's not their fault they're choking.

  4. Why, can he pitch? Huh??? Bringing up Micah implies that his bat could possibly "save" this team. While the extra offense could help, the biggest problem is the Cubs' pitching giving up an assload of runs. Micah can't do anything about that. Are you even watching?
  5. Why, can he pitch? You're a moron if you're blaming Zambrano
  6. :banghead: The sad part is, we'll be back like sheeps when next season rolls around. We'll root for them all year and then be forced to sit through another postseason choke job.
  7. Trashing the field is embarrasing and ridiculous, but I hope they do it. This piece of trash team deserves to be embarrassed.
  8. The worst part about this is, just like last year, we have to wait 2 days for the officially to be over.
  9. Pitcher all over the place, down 5, 2-0 counts, and Soriano swings at a ball at his head. c o m i c a l
  10. At this point I'm hoping for more Fukucopters. Boo him off the field, humiliate him, and hope he gives up and heads back to Japan.
  11. The people who think this team will be blown up or people like Lee will be traded are delusional. This team will pretty much be the same next year.
  12. Figures Zambrano walks after not walking all season.
  13. go back to japan you asian piece of trash. how hard is it to not swing at that? jesus christ
  14. This is high comedy. Newsflash - the Mets would have destroyed this bunch. The Mets wouldn't destroy anybody.
  15. Nope, they're going to give 4/48 to Dempster so he can put up a 4.50 ERA
  16. exactly. This was the year, the window is shrinking. This team is old. Lee is declining rapidly, Soriano is going to start declining soon, and we got never-going-to-happen-again seasons from Edmonds, Dempster, Theriot, and Derosa. The window was now and they blew it.
  17. I'm seriously done with Wrigley Field. Blow it up. I'm done.
  18. Unlucky? Are you joking? Wake the hell up. those 2 errors were as routine as possible.
  19. what a bunch of [expletive] chokers. way more pathetic than 2003 or 2007
