    I'm ready to finally admit this, and believe me it isn't easy. I was sitting here tonight, thinking about LeBron. I do that sometimes; think about LeBron. LeBron can and very likely will surpass Jordan. Barring injury or other unnatural circumstance, there is nothing Jordan could do that this man can't and more. Every team in the East and maybe the whole league is now in NBA purgatory. Ain't nobody winning a title without an LeBron injury or some unholy player pairing like Wade and Howard joining forces. League over, go home. until lebron comes remotely close to accomplishing what jordan did in the playoffs over his career, it's pointless to compare them. there are just so many legendary shots and performances in general from jordan that made him so special. right now lebron has the 48 point game 5 against detroit and that's it. it's going to be about a decade before we can start comparing lbj to mj. raw talent/skill wise? that's another story.

    you signed a contract knowing you were suppose to earn it. he hasn't come close to earning it and won't. if i'm the angels i say "you want a chance to play every day? fine, we'll release you. all you have to do is forfeit the rest of your contract. basically you can stay here and be a bench player for 3/32, or you can test your luck somewhere else. what do you choose?"

    I love when crappy players who were lucky enough to get ridiculously big contracts (that they didn't deserve) bitch about playing time. Just shut up and be glad you're so rich for sucking

    both of those guys are also better than gordon and did either of those guys win a title as a number 2?

    if ben gordon is your number 2, you're never winning anything. it's as simple as that.

    You can't be serious. what? every time gordon has a game where he goes off we hear about how awesome he is and that we need to pay him. so after one of his patented "i'm ice cold tonight but i'm going to keep heaving up shots like crazy anyways" nights i can't call him out? or it could be because of his overall stats. which aren't great. he's a good shooter, that's it. he averages like 20, 3, and 3. that's a guy you want to give a huge contract to? that's a waste of money on a non-star player. we need to save that money and go after one of the 2010 guys to pair with rose. THAt is how we'll win a championship. not by giving big contracts to alright players like gordon.

    You can't be serious. what? every time gordon has a game where he goes off we hear about how awesome he is and that we need to pay him. so after one of his patented "i'm ice cold tonight but i'm going to keep heaving up shots like crazy anyways" nights i can't call him out?

    yeah but we can wait like 10 games for khabi to get hot again? What did my post have to do with Khabi? Everyone always says Huet needs a few games to really get going. I was just pointing out that we don't have that luxury right now. just pointing out that even though khabi has been trash since he came back, nobody says a word about it. then the second huet is back in there the posts about him sucking start to show up again. khabi gets a free pass for some reason Honestly, I don't a [expletive] rat's ass about that right now. well is khabi continues to play like crap we'll have no chance whatsoever in the playoffs.

    may have had something to do with cabrera and do we still think miller is even that good? Considering his history, potential, and lack of major league service time, yes. potential, yes, but what history? his small minor league career has mixed numbers. the only place he's really been that good was aa at age 22 (4 starts) and then a few brief appearances in A ball from 21-23 that made his career numbers look good. if you take out that 4 start stretch at aa there's not much to get that excited about, numbers wise, and so far at the major league level he's shown nothing.

    it's about doing what's best for the team, not making individual players happy. marmol is most valuable where he is now. anyways, if he hits free agency as a closer he's going to get a huge paycheck and one i'd rather not pay for a reliever

    nobody is saying he wouldn't get paid even if he hits FA without closing experience. he'll just get a lot more if he is a closer at the time. thats just the way it works, even if it shouldn't
