    Loney is kind of worthless for fantasy and Hudson is highly replaceable once he comes back towards his normal numbers. You can probably find guys as good as those 2 in free agency.

    You mean right now it's really, really good. Unless you think Chris Duncan will stay a 1.021 OPS hitter, Molina an .882 OPS hitter, Brian Barden a 1.047 OPS hitter, etc etc

    He was still good because he wasn't giving up hits, but he wasn't as good as he normally is. His BB/K in his last 4 starts was 16/19 (22 IP). Walks were way up and he wasn't striking as many guys out.

    Given the circumstances, I think it's very much worth it. We're talking about another full week that we would have been without him. With the way the offense is performing, we really need him back.

    So we're comparing every injury to Prior now? If they didn't know that he was really going to b back in the next couple days they wouldn't have pinch hit with him and reset his whole DL timetable.
