In the road numbers you just posted, you really don't see a clear trend? Where did I say I think he's a "badass .900+ OPS guy?" We're not talking about Coors numbers. well we should be, considering those are the only numbers to make you think it's worth prospects and crippling defense to get him for 3 months and yeah, i see that his road numbers were getting better. the point is that they've never gotten to the point where you say "good prospects + soriano at 2B for 3 months of holliday? sign me up!" when you consider what we'd have to give up, the fact that he's a rental player, and the fact that we'd have soriano at second, a high .800's OPS isj ust not worth it. if we're doing all that, we'd better because some badass kind of mannyesque hitter. holliday is a nice hitter. he hasn't shown to be an elite hitter at anytime outside of coors.
