If Thomas was a FA then I would be at least open to the possibility, but his contract is a no-go for me unless Boston took Huet back, which they won't. Now if Cam Ward---I know he's injured---was available that's a different story, but Thomas......thx but not thx. However, you can't count on ward to be healthy or good i think ward's contract is worse than huet's Cam Ward is good and is worthy of his contract. His problem is healthy, not ability. Still, I doubt the Hawks will trade for a goalie, seeing as Boston has officially pulled Thomas off the market. So this back and fourth is kinda moot, now. i don't see how you can be afraid of thomas' cotnract and not ward's, even considering age. ward's career save percentage is .905 and he's never had a season above .916. combine that with the fact that after this season he'll average 6.3 mil over the following 6 years, and noooo thanks.
