If Thomas was a FA then I would be at least open to the possibility, but his contract is a no-go for me unless Boston took Huet back, which they won't. Now if Cam Ward---I know he's injured---was available that's a different story, but Thomas......thx but not thx. However, you can't count on ward to be healthy or good i think ward's contract is worse than huet's Cam Ward is good and is worthy of his contract. His problem is healthy, not ability. Still, I doubt the Hawks will trade for a goalie, seeing as Boston has officially pulled Thomas off the market. So this back and fourth is kinda moot, now. i don't see how you can be afraid of thomas' cotnract and not ward's, even considering age. ward's career save percentage is .905 and he's never had a season above .916. combine that with the fact that after this season he'll average 6.3 mil over the following 6 years, and noooo thanks.

I might understand one of the three plus a prospect but anything higher then that and you are wasting assets. i don't think you understand how to look at stats. there aren't many stats you can look at for goalies that actually tell you something, and the ones that DO tell you something tell you that thomas has been better than huet. and all i was arguing was your "huet=thomas" thing. you can argue that thomas isn't enough of an upgrade to warrant what it will cost, but you can't argue that he isn't a clear upgrade over huet. it's a big upgrade.

That was an excellent game today. You don't [expletive] with Ovechkin. for me, ovechkin is now in pujols/lebron territory as the guy who is just on a completely different level than everybody else in his sport. ovechkin's numbers this year projected over an 82 game season: 68 goals 71 assists 139 points +66 come on. guys don't put those numbers up anymore

what is this They were once in Baltimore, the owner snuck them out of town at mid-night. I have friends that still hate the owner of the Colts for that reason. They believe that it is karma (I don't know why) that the Colts lost the games at the end of the season and will lose this one. what's karmex It's stuff you put on your lips, they are "spiritual" and use the word karma all the time, so to piss them off I call it karmex i think it would be best for everyone if you just stop talking
