saito wasn't nearly as good last season as he was his first 3 seasons. he had a 1.35 WHIP last season

root for CR. they almost lost to latvia last night.

Kane probably would not have made the Canadian team, Thorton was probably the 2nd forward Yzerman picked Kane would've made the Canadian team. Don't let your irrational hate towards him cloud your vision. Steve Stamkos begs to differ and st. louis kane would have been ahead of those guys though, despite your irrational feelings

Tyrus also never got consistent minutes like Taj is getting. The Bulls drafted Tyrus as a project and then expected him to play like a 10 year vet. lollll You got me with that one. well your post kind of did the speaking for itself i cant bleieve people still make excuses for tyrus. tyrus got plenty of chances, and nobody expected him to "play like a 10 year vet". that's ridiculous.

this game would be like 5-3 if the russian coach wasn't asleep

another bad goal from nabakov. who is the cocach of russia? he's giving the game away right now.

i think they're playing way better than they did against USA. they look unbelievable right now My point was that Canada didn't play poorly against the US. They were on the attack most of the game. I guess you could say that they must be playing better because everyone considered Russia a better team than the US going into this tournament and they are getting manhandled by them while the US won. well they def didnt play poorly against USA (they outplayed us pretty badly), but they didn't look like this. they look way more crisp and are flying all over the place.

Shouldn't you expect your supposedly world class goaltender to do more than not give up bad goals? yeah, this is an elimination game and you have a really good goalie ready to step in. there's no way nabi should have been given a 4 goal leash. the 4th goal was enormous, and it should have never happened.

the second one was pretty soft. i only saw the 3rd goal once (and you cant really blame a goalie on a breakaway goal), but he was flopping around on that one too.

nabakov shouldnt have still been in the game. embarrassing performance from him and they're STILL leaving him in? wow
  16. 17 Seconds
wow that would have been the sickest goal ever. getzlaf is amazing
  17. 17 Seconds
Bryzgalov. oh yeah. i would have strongly considered putting him in after the 3rd goal
  18. 17 Seconds
he's been awesome. i think he had the best +/- in the tournament going into today's games
  19. 17 Seconds
these goalies are leaking like crazy. somebody might get to 10. who is the number 2 goalie for russia? nabi has been terrible
  20. 17 Seconds
Kane being invisible against better opponents....hhmmm. not sure exactly what this means, but i'm pretty sure it's something stupid.
  21. 17 Seconds
    yeah kane has been invisible
  22. 17 Seconds
so you're posting in article in which the writer is saying the exact same thing that pretty much all of us said the day the contract was signed

Before the economic crunch, the only justification to sign with the Yankees was money. Winning, history, great fans... nope, only money. add fame to the list
