it's getting seriously unbelievable how every game between western conference playoff contenders goes to OT. almost EVERY night those teams play each other, it goes to ot.

huuuuge loss for the celts. their remaining schedule isn't favorable... at least compared to ours. they still get the spurs, hawks, heat, bulls, sixers, and knicks...... most of those on the road. the number 1 seed is looking huge right now. i know the knicks are struggling big time and their defense is comical, but they still scare me way more than indiana. also, the number 1 seed insures that you don't have to play miami or boston until the ECF, and that you only have to go through one of them.

a couple weeks ago i started getting greeding and wanting 60 wins. we have to go 9-3 the rest of the way. i can't believe how well this season is going. before boozer got hurt before the seaosn started, i wanted 50 wins pretty badly. now we're going to win 58-60... and that's with the significant injuries to boozer and noah.

i don't understand the point of saying that and ignoring games in hand. Thats just how I look at it. Being behind the pace still means you need to make up those points. If the Bulls were 49-19 and the Celtics 50-19, I would say the Bulls were a half game behind Boston but have played 1 less game. It's a big part of the equation no doubt, but being 2 points behind a team with a game in hand still requires them to make up those points. basketball is different. there aren't any ties and it go purely by win-loss i just don't get the point of saying "they're out of the playoffs right now" about a team if they had 2 games in hand on the 8 spot. if the hawks were down 1 point to the flames with 2 games in hand, would you say calgary is ahead of them? i wouldn't. the games is hand are just as important as the overall point total. neither means anything without looking at the other. the point total means nothing until all the games are played. what's important is the record itself. if you have 2 games in hand and are only down 1 point, you have the better record despite trailing in points.

melo is already causing problems too. supposedly he refused to join a huddle during a timeout during friday's game, and then amare kind of called him out a little bit in the postgame press conference (which melo skipped). i'm so glad the bulls didn't trade noah for that guy. oh, and then they followed it up by losing to the bucks

Lebron's been all over TV imb already used that joke I have him blocked. With the bad taste of "the decision" still in people's mouths, and the fact that his team -- supposed to blow everyone summarily off the court -- can't crack the top 2 seeds, and he's playing with 2 other superstars. I don't know. I realize he's Lebron. There are some negatives there that Rose doesn't have to deal with. Built-in negatives. chris bosh is a superstar?

You don't get fouled by guys playing under neath every screen or sagging off in isolation. You get fouled by guys you beat to a spot. Hard to beat a guy to a spot when he has a five foot head start. ok so then take a quick couple steps and pull up for a poorly contested mid-range shot. something he can actually do.

it's okay to miss them as long as youre open we need to start utilizing noah from three more often. teams just GIVE him that wide open three constantly.
