  1. i hope cashner has success, but i'm still amazed that the cubs got rizzo for him.
  2. the homer inside me likes to think that the blackhawks are the ones that turned vancouver into headcases
  3. the blackhawks were a 2 seed that got the toughest road through the conference that they possibly could have gotten. not sure what else they could have proven. would it have been better if they went through a detroit team that got wiped out in 5 games (by the team the hawks swept)? i suppose they got kind of lucky drawing the flyers in the finals, but at that point the flyers obviously were playing better than their regular season selves. also, the canucks weren't really known as the perennial chokers yet when the hawks beat them. that had kind of melted down against the hawks the previous year, but that series in the cup year was the one that kind of gave them that reputation as headcases, then they cemented in in the last 2 years. don't forget, the vancouver thrashed the hawks in game 1 (at chicago) and then were up 2-0 early in the second game.

  5. hamels/Garza/Samardzija/Wood/Maholm in 2013. that's potentially a fantastic rotation, right?
  6. castro is just another ronny cedeno so lets trade him while his stock is high and hopefully get back a stud 21-22 year old prospect who is major league ready
  7. as good as lundqvist has been, those 3 goals he gave up in the first were bruuutttalllll. hard to come back form that.
  8. first time i've seen this video. really unique fan perspective of the kane cup winner and celebration
  9. loved mike smith getting one last huge slash in on richards right after the OT goal was scored. perfect.
  10. these guys on this men at work show have to know that it stands no chance, right?
  11. wtf are the pacers doing out there?
  12. it's such a joke that haslem is still in this game
  13. i don't buy this guy as a human
  14. right when i read the thread title i figured out what it must be and it immediately made me sad.
  15. michael brenly has like a .550 ops in tennessee, so no. he wouldn't be better.
  16. does it really matter? it's an irrelevant move

  18. Which would almost certainly heal in time for next year stephen curry
  19. pretty sure dfa'd guys aren't very good candidates to become trade bait.
  20. this was just a beatdown.
  21. Didn't that stupid pass just speed up the recovery time for everyone having offseason surgeries, though? Pretending the Bulls could have gotten past the Celtics in round 2, and then maybe a 5 or 6 game series in the ECF, that's nearly another month of play. Probably true, in retrospect. I was pretty upset with him when it happened though. deng isn't having his surgery until the after the olympics and rose already has his, so it's completely irrelevant
  22. frank vogel is a genius for working the refs and calling the heat floppers before the series even started. the heat aren't playing with the physicality they usually play with. could be a coincidence, but they seem to be playing soft.
  23. is this the same ump? rodney again, this time getting 2 embarrassing calls in the 9th inning of a close game. http://www.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=21468797&c_id=tor&partnerId=aw-8680777150750141427-996
  24. i think the heat are a little rattled but the physicality from indiana, and the fact that they're not scared of them. i think other than dallas, no team that's face the heat in the playoffs the last 2 seasons has matched their level of physicality. [expletive], even dallas didn't... they were just better. the heat play dirty, and i think vogel has the pacers ready to do the same thing if that's what it takes.
