  1. Which would almost certainly heal in time for next year stephen curry
  2. pretty sure dfa'd guys aren't very good candidates to become trade bait.
  3. this was just a beatdown.
  4. Didn't that stupid pass just speed up the recovery time for everyone having offseason surgeries, though? Pretending the Bulls could have gotten past the Celtics in round 2, and then maybe a 5 or 6 game series in the ECF, that's nearly another month of play. Probably true, in retrospect. I was pretty upset with him when it happened though. deng isn't having his surgery until the after the olympics and rose already has his, so it's completely irrelevant
  5. frank vogel is a genius for working the refs and calling the heat floppers before the series even started. the heat aren't playing with the physicality they usually play with. could be a coincidence, but they seem to be playing soft.
  6. is this the same ump? rodney again, this time getting 2 embarrassing calls in the 9th inning of a close game. http://www.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=21468797&c_id=tor&partnerId=aw-8680777150750141427-996
  7. i think the heat are a little rattled but the physicality from indiana, and the fact that they're not scared of them. i think other than dallas, no team that's face the heat in the playoffs the last 2 seasons has matched their level of physicality. [expletive], even dallas didn't... they were just better. the heat play dirty, and i think vogel has the pacers ready to do the same thing if that's what it takes.
  8. why do people care about how many years he says he wants? who cares? teams big against each other, not against his hopes. he'll sign for the highest contract in what he considers a good situation.
  9. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... aFNNfFDjhw dustin brown seriously got a diving penalty on that? that's embarrassing. glad mike smith is finally getting exposed.
  10. i just think seeing rose come back from that injury and leading his team to a title would be more satisfying and meaningful than any of the jordan wins, and i was basically obsessed with michael jordan growing up.
  11. Seriously, were you not alive for Jordan? Payton? i said most loved. the difference is that rose is from chicago. that alone gets him a certain type of love that guys like sosa/jordan couldn't get. that and the fact that he would have won the title after coming back from a completely devastating injury, and yea..... i think he would be special to the city in a way that other guys weren't.
  12. it's the eastern conference and we'll have a good defense because of thibodeau. i don't see us missing the playoffs
  13. no talk on the bosh injury? mri tomorrow, and the buzz is that he'll probably miss this series and maybe more. that's a devstasting injury if true. i think it makes the boston/miami series a tossup, and there is no way the heat are beating san antonio or okc without him. they are just too thin, especially with bigs.
  14. the sixers are all jumpers
  15. he's really taking this thing to another level these days
  16. chris webber is a really solid analyst
  17. if rose comes back from this injury and eventually wins a title, he might be the most loved chicago athlete of all time
  18. basically all we can really do (assuming we don't amnesty boozer) is look for a point guard who can hold down the fort until rose gets back. i like watson fine as a backup, but we can't have him starting at the point for the first 2-3 months of the season.
  19. I know what I'm going to say. They both K too much. rizzo strikes out too much?
  20. how many points did korver have in the 5 games after his facebook speech? like 5? seriously.
  21. second year in a row that ends with a huge chokejob
  22. cj watson was embarrassing this series
  23. the argument was whether or not he misses 4-foot putts, not whether his putting has gotten worse or not.
  24. i think with noah the bulls win both in philly and close it out in 5 last night. at the very least, they split in philly and are up 3-2 right now.
