why do people care about how many years he says he wants? who cares? teams big against each other, not against his hopes. he'll sign for the highest contract in what he considers a good situation.

i just think seeing rose come back from that injury and leading his team to a title would be more satisfying and meaningful than any of the jordan wins, and i was basically obsessed with michael jordan growing up.

Seriously, were you not alive for Jordan? Payton? i said most loved. the difference is that rose is from chicago. that alone gets him a certain type of love that guys like sosa/jordan couldn't get. that and the fact that he would have won the title after coming back from a completely devastating injury, and yea..... i think he would be special to the city in a way that other guys weren't.

it's the eastern conference and we'll have a good defense because of thibodeau. i don't see us missing the playoffs

no talk on the bosh injury? mri tomorrow, and the buzz is that he'll probably miss this series and maybe more. that's a devstasting injury if true. i think it makes the boston/miami series a tossup, and there is no way the heat are beating san antonio or okc without him. they are just too thin, especially with bigs.

if rose comes back from this injury and eventually wins a title, he might be the most loved chicago athlete of all time

basically all we can really do (assuming we don't amnesty boozer) is look for a point guard who can hold down the fort until rose gets back. i like watson fine as a backup, but we can't have him starting at the point for the first 2-3 months of the season.

i think with noah the bulls win both in philly and close it out in 5 last night. at the very least, they split in philly and are up 3-2 right now.

i kind of agree. i questioned whether or not they should make a move when they had that horrible losing streak (not because i thought it was his fault, but because i thought the team needed a shakeup), but i still am not sure i'd be cool with them firing him. we were still a really good team this year. i still maintain that having a good goalie would have completely changed how this team looked. during the cup year, the team played way different when huet was in compared to niemi. it seemed like it really got in their heads and they weren't flying around the ice as much. i know this is a much different team than that and there isn't any tangible proof of it, but i got the same feeling when i watched the team this year.

oh, so jordan makes that shot 100% of the time? i mean im a huge jordan fan and i'm very familiar with how clutch he was, but it gets overblown at times. he didn't make every single big shot he ever took jordan was better because he was better

i can't imagine a more soul-crushing 4 game stretch. game 1- rose tears acl game 2- loss, fluke jump shooting night for opponent game 3- loss, heartbreaking late collapse and loss of second best player game 4- loss, and that unique kind of frustration you only get from watching horrible officiating not saying the bulls deserved to win any of the last 3, but i can't imagine them happening in more painful ways.
